Forest Glen Golf & Country Club

We were scheduled to play at another course however changed plans as the fairways were just plugged when we arrived. A quick search on GolfNow landed us at Forest Glen. That ended up to be a blessing in disguise as this course is beautiful. All areas of the course from the tee boxes to the fairways and greens are very well kept. The greens were also quite challenging with their contour and then compounded with some difficult pin placements. The pin placement on 18 the day we played could not have been more difficult. I am looking forward to playing here again when visiting family in the area.

Back nine is quite tight, and will attempt to bait you into making poor decisions. Always in excellent shape and professionally administered.

Even though I've been living within a few miles of this golf course for several years, this was my first time playing it. Everything is so well organized, starting with checking in at the gate right on through to getting on to the course. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The course is fabulous. Well manicured, and challenging enough to keep any golfer happy. The signage is good. This course is an absolute must if you are in the area and looking for a great golf course.

So glad this was not the 1st course that we had played in the Naples area the pro shop staff were fine when we went out to our carts the old guy that met us was less than courteous infact rude would be a better description the rental clubs were not what we had ordered which set him off to the pro shop and ended up with the pro staff fetching clubs his mannerism was so far off what we have come to expect in this fantastic golfing area the course was superb in every way and such a shame the old guy wasted the experience for us as it took us 6 holes to get over the shock. For customer excellence send some of the staff to the Rookery club where we were treated in the highest esteem and made so welcome it won hands down

From the time we went through the gates to the time we left we were made to feel welcome even though we weren't members.

The course was in tip top condition - their greenkeepers work hard!

They have a nesting pair of bald eagles too.

Course is excellently maintained, clubhouse staff very helpful and pleasant, however, the pro shop attendant obviously was not happy to welcome us to the club. We felt as though we were an inconvenience to him as we were not members. Someone needs to explain to him even if you are having a bad day don't let it show, we played the course prior to purchasing a home and golf membership at Forest Glen. We do not want to be a member of a club that would not welcome any friends or guests we may have as though they were full dues paying members. Such a shame

Wie played this course the second time. Everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly and the condition are perfect. Tricky course with a lot of water. Wie will Play it again, when we come back to Florida.

Forest Glen is in such good condition, it makes the "tough winter' & "el nino effect" offered by other courses laughable. The greens were perfect. I suggest using clubs you have confidence in controlling: get too far off target, and you'll be breaking out a new ball.

I've played this course before several times and you never get tired of it. Outstanding course conditions and the greens are meticulous. Sand traps and water hazards are strategically placed, and with the different tee box locations it has plenty of challenge for any skill level. A truly great golf experience.

Great course, dreadfully slow. Marshall ineffective. Behind elderly 4-some with guy who spent lots of time fishing balls out of the water! Played with two members who quit after 10 holes after expressing surprise at 4-some in front as two players wearing cargo shorts. Things get very sloppy in the off season!

Would recommend with a qualifier - expect to be extremely slow.

Course is well maintained, moderate difficulty, helps to play with someone who knows it. I loved a ranger who gave us a ticket for slow play (we were 6 minutes behind) when nobody was seen behind or before us.

Interesting grass, firm, sandy cart paths covered with Coquina which better than regular sand for hitting the ball.

A beautiful course with nice practice facilities and the conditions where near perfect. We played on a Saturday so it was a little slow but still a fun day.

I'd love to play this course again after knowing the layout a little more. This course has everything from drivable par 4's to long and narrow par 5's. I highly recommend this place as its one of the best in the Naples area. Only complaint is that we never saw the cart girl but there's plenty of ice and water out on the course.

Course was in excellent shape. I knew this course would be tough due to high slope. I have played many Arthur hills but this one was over the top. No place to drive ball on 3 holes. All forced carries on all drives and 2 par threes .Greens were fast but too much slope for speed.
So 2-3club wind all day
Impossible to get close on majority of holes
Elephants buried in at least 4 greens
Paid great rate on Golfnow for 4 hours of frustration . shot 93 from hybrid tees
Don't know if I would go back

I was treated very rude by the club house staff. I did not print my golf now voucher however I did have it pulled up on my phone. One of the pros behind the desk said ,"looks like you could print the freakin voucher".
I have played many quality courses and have never been treated so poorly. If they do not want public business they should not advertise on Golf Now.
Because of their attitude I could not recommend this course to a friend.

A wonderful course that has the front nine a little more challenging than the back. Greens were true. Fairways fairly generous. A must play if you get the chance

This facility is overall a first class operation in great condition. It is grassed, tee to green, with Paspalum grass. If you have never played on paspalum grass....it is DIFFERANT! Fairways almost feel like hitting off mats at driving range, and greens are deceptively slow. While the grass is beautiful, if you're unfamiliar with it, it WILL add strokes to your score.
