About
Silver Dollar Golf & Trap Club offers three unique nine-hole courses located just northwest of Tampa. The courses take advantage of the scenic landscape provided by the west Florida coast. Stately trees dot the terrain as well as several lakes and ponds. The nines: the Bobcat, the Gator, and the Panther; can be played individually, consecutively, or as an 18-hole combination. The Bobcat/Gator layout offers an interesting variety of fairways that range from wide to narrow, tree lined to open. There are also strategically placed bunkers and water hazards coming into play throughout. The golf course balances challenging elements with player-friendly features to make a versatile course that appeals to a range of different skill levels. The versatile layouts and variety of options makes Silver Dollar one of the best values in the Tampa area.

have played there many times. the course was in great condition. highly recommend a round or two.
Fun & friendly
I enjoy playing golf at Silver Dollar... friendly staff, good pace, and always a good time!
Terrible
Smelt like horse poop the entire course. Course conditions are terrible. Wouldn’t recommend spending 40 bucks for this atrocious place ever. Clubhouse was very nice and the people working, the course was just terrible to play smothered in horse poop flies trying to eat you up every shot. Greens looked like sand traps just not the course to play in Tampa.
Cow Pasture
If you enjoy bare tee boxes, weed filled greens and fairways that look they have just been plowed to plant the corn, then this cow pasture will meet your expectations!

Needs work
Course was in fair shape. Greens were slow and inconsistent. Fairways were in pretty good shape. Tee boxes were under repair.
Get what you pay for
Silver dollar throughout the years has always been a get what you pay for type of golf course. If the greens were mowed better and the course was more consistent in tee boxes, fairways, greens, etc. it wouldn’t be half bad. They are trying to make improvements though!
Decent course
Course has a fun layout. Conditions a bit lacking, greens were thick and punched out. Pace of play was great.
played the course many times. they are redoing the t-boxes. also the greens are sandy, but in good shape. will be great next season.
