The course is in excellent condition and Has enough challenge to make it fun, but playable.

Audubon, design approved course, Built around ponds and wild areas with some gators and plenty of birds.

Firm greens with few ball marks. Thick sand, but easily playable. Good variety in hole shapes, green contours, and pin placements. Fairways: medium to wide. Tees in carts, but carts DO NOT have range finder/course mapping devices.. 150markers in fairways. Practice balls included.

Course is in good shape greens a little slow and hairy. Layout is good staff is always excellent. Great value for the money.

Generous fairways off the tee. The challenge is on the 2nd shot on par 4s and the 3rd shot on par 5s. The wind plays a factor as well around the course. The greens had typically large with many levels and some very tricky pin positions. Didn't have too many straight putts - many had some amount of bend.

The more I played the course the more I liked it - played 4 times.

Golf course was fabulous but quite a journey at times between tees due to construction!!’ Would like more low cost tee times available under these conditions!!

UGH, 2h35m to play the front nine. No Marshall to monitor slow play. Cart states 4h14m for 18 holes. We weren't even close.

Played with a friend from Canada that had played there before a few times . Enjoyed very much , will play there again

Just perfect for someone who has’nt touch a club in over a month. Lots of house construction going on but don’t let that prevent you from going there. Make sure you add this course on your list.

With a late morning tee time we were round in under four hours which as a twosome seemed a long time. The course is in good shape with greens at a good pace, though some with severe slopes, and very wide fairways. No rough to speak of, so unless you are playing the black tees, you should have little trouble. The layout of the course is through a building site at the moment so not very scenic and there are some very long rides between holes which would make it unwalkable even if walking was allowed. Pro shop staff, starter and rangers were all very friendly and helpful. Range balls were complimentary. Not my favorite course in the Venice area but I would play it again, and it should be much more scenic once all the development is complete.

This course is always kept in very good condition. The fairways are extremely forgiving, and the greens challenging. The greens are Tifeagle grass and always seem to roll fast and true. They are as good as any greens in the area.

It is important to play the correct set of tees. The course difficulty is all around the greens. When it is windy, which is often, this course will offer plenty of challenge. It is a fun place to play.

Fairways and green in good condition. Waiting on group ahead of us, while group behind us were impatient and hit into us several times. And we still finished in under 4 hours.

Great change of pace course. A more open links style, in great shape with greens that challenge.

Watching this course transform over the past 5 years has been really cool. It used to be like going to another state or country out in the middle of nowhere. Now all the improvements are taking shape and its becoming a course people at my club are talking about. The course has always played well and been maintained adequately.
