very nice course, still construction going on on some of the cart paths

Greens are true and smooth. Fairways green and lush. Played in a little over 4 hours. Only complaint is that its Always WINDY there.

The course is not, as the name suggests located in Sarasota. It is located 45 minutes south in Venice. The course is new and there is considerable housing construction around the course. The fairways are hard and need some maturing to soften up but are in good condition. The greens are the fastest I encountered over my week in Sarasota. The staff are courteous and friendly. The course will likely become private as the housing units sell over the next 5 years. For those thinking of buying the amenities include large pool, fitness center and tennis/pickle ball courts. A fun course for couples. Good distances between tees to even up the play for women.

Great course in fine condition but I would not play again due to current construction work - a lot of the natural scrub has been cleared and it looks barren off the fairways.

Unfortunately we were unable to play this course due to the weather. We really looked forward to it, however it will have to wait til next year. The pro shop at the course was excellent in trying to accommodate but the weather just wouldn't cooperate. Golf Now was excellent in their handling of the refund policy.

The course allowed a group of five players in front of us which made us wait on almost every shot however they did get around in the allotted time although they weren't very good. When I mentioned it to the Ranger he became defensive and kept repeating it was the pro shop that allowed it A five group should never be allowed under any circumstances and it's just not professional at this otherwise excellent course.

Play here often and always enjoy the experience.

Would like to be a member there. This is my 4th time playing and I have taken advantage of GolfNow and hope to have more opportunities in the future. Usually windy, course well maintained, and the staff and workers friendly. Hope to get another round in soon.

Great layout. Very long, 7000+ yard course, but quite player friendly, with very wide driving areas, well-kept bunkers, smooth, quick and true greens. Regular rates are winter high, but the occasional Golf Now deal is well worth it! Often windy !

Extrem Slow pace, groundwork everywhere next to the fairways.,

The course was good. first 6 holes rather bland, but a lot of good holes thereafter inc. some excellent risk/reward par 5's. It was in good condition - greens excellent. A lot of construction going on - so some disruption to cars paths and noise. We'd a late afternoon 1.45pm tee time, which meant a reduced service. Meet/greet was excellent, lady in pro shop seemed more interested in her smart phone. No starter - he'd gone, no balls on range. Ranger was a cheery chap - "sand all you divots even on tees and you have no standing as a 2some, have a nice day". Where was he when the 2 4balls in front were moving at glacial pace... We'd to miss out a hole to pass the 4ball to get done before dark. I suspect an a.m. tee time would have been a slightly better experience. But would still recommend this course.

pace off play was totaly uneceptable. asked rangers for help and got none. the three people i played with will not returne. to the course that dose not matter because they will still make there money. but as a costumer it is a shame. i will think twice before i play there again. no food at turn.

Great course, wonderful weather (typical Florida), nice staff and a lot of local wildlife. Played with 3 other, whom I only met today. They were very friendly and accepting of my 25 handicap.

Sarasota National has the best greens we've played in the area, in terms of public access golf courses. Very fast and true. At $50 for a green fee via Golf Now, it was also worth the $$. A definite must play if you're in the area. Lots of wildlife on the course also. We saw many gators, birds and a raccoon.
