Lexington Oaks Golf Club

Every hole was a disaster, really muddy wet and in bad shape. I realize we had quite a bit of rain, but the drainage on this course is horrible.

The only issue I have with the course conditions would be the lack of sand in several traps. Other than that, aces as usual

It’s always fun to play Lexington Oaks! It’s a nice layout and the course was in nice shape, especially the greens that were in great shape! We’ve had quite a bit of ran recently so the course was a bit soft by the greens.

Great course, greens were in great shape and fairways easy to hit. Super friendly staff at the clubhouse and owners were at the restaurant at lunch time: really nice people from Colombia.

Also the food at the restaurant was on point and the couple that run the show in there were pretty awesome too. Highly recommend this place.

This course is in great condition. Other courses in the area which have a hard time coping with the heat and lack of rain should learn from the team at Lexington Oaks. Congrats to the grounds crew!

Over all I enjoyed my round, but some of the holes from the blue tees were just not fun. Trying to hit into a head wind made it extremely difficult to carry a few of the waste areas off the tee box. The only other option would have been playing the whites, but that would have made the course to short to enjoy except those few holes.

Had a 10:15 AM tee time, but when we got to the course they had a tournament going through. Originally told that there were six groups ahead of us which would’ve delayed our tee time considerably, but they finally relented and let us go off the back. They shouldn’t plan tournaments and then allow originally scheduled teetimes to show still available. Show a little respect for your customers!

The course was in really good shape, just a couple greens still need minor work that are currently being worked on. The others were in excellent shape and pretty fast and true. Fairways were nicely trimmed and wide so no worries there. Overall course was a bit challenging at times, especially the doglegs, but lots of fun. Omari's food was very good and staff was very friendly, attentive, and had a good sense of humor. Especially the newbie that just had started 3 days before!!! I'll be back again for sure.

Lexington Oaks is always a fun course, only 5000 yds from the Gold tees....greens were in perfect shape, nice wide fairways with not too much water ( off the tee )...yet still challenging....my only criticism would be never again to play on a holiday....my buddy and I took nearly 5 hours to play today.....
