Golf Club At South Hampton

Overall pretty good. They really need to work on customer interaction.

Everything about it was perfect, tee box to green and everything in between , they even had a cart girl out and we didn’t tee until 3:42 , played in 3 hrs and 15 mins . I love this place , I’m thinking about becoming a member.

Nice course. On the easier side of play.Tee boxes and fairways were in very good condition. Greens are very slow compared to other courses; some traps had hard packed sand/little sand.

Greens need a little more tweaking. A couple of the greens were scalped. Like maybe the blade was set to low. Only in a few places but just enough to cause concern especially in this heatwave.

Another great round at South Hampton. Course was in great shape. I be put is the best course in the area for the $s.

Played on a weekday. Had a 4-some almost a noon tee time. Took almost 4.5 hours. Fairways & bunkers were in good condition. Greens were very slow compared to other courses I have played recently. Nice to have a drink cart going around the course on a hot day. Cart had an issue (I think #76 - at least in the #70's). Slowed to about half speed (or less) when the pedal was fully depressed. Figured out after several holes - if pressed less than to the floor it would sort of move along nicely but not consistently.

There are fancier courses however for the money this is the nicest one

Slow play took away from being great day and over course the 2-3 hole downpour delay.
