About
Monarch Golf Club at Royal Highlands is carved from gently rolling hills located just outside of Orlando in the city of Leesburg. Although the wide fairways are relatively flat, the golf course's terrain provides the greens with gentle undulation. Sparkling lakes provide scenery while also coming into play as water hazards on nine holes. There are also doglegs and bunkers throughout to provide the golf course with even more challenges. Much of the land that the club occupies has been preserved as a wetlands area, offering golfers a glimpse of native wildlife. In addition to its natural beauty, Monarch Golf Club at Royal Highlands is popular due to its accessible layout that accommodates both low and high handicap players.

Course was in great shape greens were true and some were hard to read
Course is very enjoying to play.
Course is in nice condition all around after overseeing.
Great course
Becoming one of my weekly golf courses. Golf was great and restaurant has outstanding food.
Nice course
Very busy so made it for a Very slow pace. Plus they had aerated recently so groundskeeper kept turning sprinklers on right before our next shots making the everything roll slow.
But, We would play again.

Great conditions and layout, a must course to play.
Very Fun Course!
They over seeded the course. Fairways & Greens in great shape! Always a fun course to play. Very forgiving course. Wide open. Due to COVID they tried to charge me an extra $10 to ride in the cart by myself. If you don’t want to ride with the person you’re paired with they said a new policy from the GM. Nothing is posted about the extra $10 on Golf now or in the golf shop.

outstanding as usual, Dinah does a great job in the pro shop along with the rest of the staff. the course was in great shape. a pleasure to play there.
All around good value
This was the 3rd time in a month our group played Monarch. The staff has always been friendly and courteous. Every member of staff, pro shop ,outside staff and restaurant, strive to be accommodating..Good
course conditions have been consistent on each visit. Job well done Monarch!
As usual course was in great condition. The staff is always exceptional regardless who it is. Sunday it was Dina it’s a pleasure to play there.
Waste of Space
Don’t waste your money should be made into homes it’s a waste of valuable Florida real estate. worst greens worst fairways worst tee box’s
What a Gem!
I live in the area and this is one of my favs. They follow social distancing guidelines without trying to charge an extra $10-$20 tpp ride in a cart alone. It's shorter than most, but challenging and most of all - FUN! The staff in the Pro Shop is awesome as well. I go here several times a month.

PACE PLAY GREAT AFTER I PASSED 2 SLOWWW PLAYERS, COURSE GOOD SHAPE GREENS FINE LITTLE SPEED ON THEM, PRO SHOP AND CART BARN STAFF FANTASTIC.
