Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

On Course Staff
I arrived 20 minutes before my tee time. Checked in and proceeded to hit balls on the driving range. The Starter drove up to me to inform me the group I was to play with had already teed off and that I was late. I told him that I still had fifteen minutes till my tee time. He said they were way ahead of time and therefore I was late. I told him that was his problem and I expected to tee off on time. He told me I should go and ask for my money back and he didn't like my attitude. I reiterated that I wanted to play golf. He drove off and a few minutes later a couple came over to say I would be playing with them.
I have played this course at least twice a month for ten years and never treated like that.
This course will only be a last resort in future.

Great Round of Golf
Course was in great shape. Greens rolled true. Fairways were forgiving which helped our group (all at different levels) have a great time. Highly recommend!

Panther Run- good course conditions, value for money
Greens, tees & fairways excellent shape. Pace was onTime.
Staff friendly. I play a lot and some will say this course us boring it's not. Yes it has wide open fairways but still provide challenges on your approaches to greens. Water around course but doesn't invoke the water gods for some. This course is really great for working on your repertoire of drive types and approach shots. Staff great. The bar/19th hole restaurant very good. Staff were great. Grouper sandwich very good but get it without the bun. I'll bet if you play it once you'll go back. I will.

Great course!
They.did a great job with the new.grass everywhere. I have played this course numerous times over.the years. Always enjoyed it. Enough challenges without making it too difficult to have fun. Great staff.

User friendly yet challenging
Wide fairways most holes. Takes good shots to get close to holes and enough green contour to make you think and frustrate you from time to time. Par threes good tests. Renovations since I last played in 2021 have smooth fairways and a nice experience. No drink cart seen. But full bar and menu at turn and after round. Water seen but generally not in play with reasonable shot making. Tough to find tee times. Played in under 4 hours. Variety of tee lengths accommodate most folks.

Awful Booking/Cancelling Process
Booked directly on their website. Later had to cancel several tee times well in advance and called them per their policy. No refund on booking fees of ~$70/round until I then spent over 45 minutes on phone with the booking entity they use. Absolutely horrible customer service from their proshop

Buyer Beware
Played course and its adequate although overpriced.
Had to cancel other tee times due to illness.
Even though reservations made via their website and cancelled by calling them at least 24 hours before tee times per their own emailed instructions I HAD TO SPEND 45 MINUTES ON PHONE with third party golf intermediary they use to get my booking fee (~$70/round) refunded. INEXCUSABLE.
