The Plantation Golf Club - Otter Creek Course
About
The Plantation at Leesburg offers two championship courses, the Cranes Roost Course and the Otter Creek Course. The Otter Creek Course features an interesting layout that is wide open on the front nine, while the back nine is rife with towering trees. Situated on hilly terrain, the golf course features gently rolling fairways and the medium-sized greens have some slight undulations. As its name suggests, a creek flows through the golf course and comes into play on several holes throughout. The semi-private Plantation at Leesburg provides two excellent golf courses, but they also feature a practice facility and staff of golf professionals to help players of all skill levels.

will play again
course was in good shape the greens were fantastic it was raining that day but we didn't quit well other groups did so it sped up the play .
Good course and good value
Have played this course several times and am impressed with the good condition. Always interesting to play.
This course is in great shape
This is one of the nicest course for the money. The fairway are narrow but nice .the bunker are nice ,the greens are immaculate. It was my first time playing this course.it well worth the money. The girl at the bar is rough around the edges .
Nice short course
Course was in pretty nice shape. Back nine is pretty and tighter
Wet back nine
Course was in good shape except for the rain the night before, left the back nine too wet to drive on. Makes the game longer and more frustrating
excellent
Très beau parcours dans une belle résidence. Petit bijou. Le club house est sympa. J'y ai mangé les meilleures frites de toute ma vie.
Otter Creek, Plantations at Leesburg
Narrow fairways, plenty of trees, some water, lots of doglegs. Bigger drivers lose some of their advantage here. Position is more important than distance.
Well maintained, a fun course to play with plenty of visual trickery ( tee box doesn't always point to where you should be hitting). A good gps or laser finder is a real help on this course, distance to hazards and turns is particularly important.
No cart girl, bring your own beverages. You can stop at restaurant between 9 & 10th, but service usually slow.
Totally different course than Cranes Roost which is on same property.
Nice & Fun, But
The course was fun with nice greens and somewhat challenging with tree lines. The staff seemed very busy, to busy to be of much help. On the turn we wanted something quick to eat but that did not happen. Waited a very long time for a hotdog. They should have some items ready to go or let people know to call in at tee7, might be ready by then.
Great Shape
This summer's upgrades were suttle but made a good course even better. Don't know if it is the rain we have had or if it Is the new managing company bur the course is in great shape.
Plantation at leesburg otter creek
Course has a lot of turns. Need to play this one smart. Very clean, staff has a great sense of humor. Need to put the ice coolers back on the course
Tree lined course
The course and staff were good ,The course had some challenging tree lined holes, but overall a fair test of golf.
Nice Day in January
There was a foursome in front of us but play was well paced. Course in decent shape.
Otter Course
Front nine was good, but back nine was very challenging and fun.
Greens were in great condition
Before you make your tee time, make sure there is not a tournament scheduled. We had to wait on every hole and it took us much longer to play than expected.
Great course
Great course with beautiful challenging holes on the back 9. Worth a return visit!
From the blue tees a well placed tee ball is a must.
Trees, sand and water will make you scramble. The greens looked beautiful and putted very true.
nice improvements
the best conditions I have experienced here. great turf on the greens but putt slow. this will improve when they start to cut the overseed down more. new tee decks on #13 and removal of a few overhanging limbs on "otters revenge" make huge difference to playability.
