It had been a while since we played there because I was out for a year after surgery. We used to be members. You can tell they are trying to repair the greens and they are winning that battle. They are almost there. Our cart battery came on around the 5th hole (both carts) and by the 15th hole we knew we were not going to make it with one of them. We called they said they would swap out the cart but nobody came. We had to walk three holes because you could not take the cart off the path without it dying. People got upset because it slowed the play down. I eventually just walked away from multiple balls (hit on the fairway mind you) to keep pace for other players. Cart path only for every hole on this course is impossible. One of the restrooms was quite bad as well. I enjoy this course but there are details they overlook for the price to play. It’s the details that keep people coming back.

The greens have come back! I played when they were dead in January, but now they’re back. I just wish they would kill weeds around the green and tee boxes. If you’re not in the fairways it is weed city. This place could be great if they could keep things going. I always expect more though. Grrrr

We were just there on Saturday had no range balls and no warm up facility. After we made a complaint to the starter he began to berate us like children. Until Jim is reprimanded for his approach to non member you will never see our group out there again or any of our friends that play. Jim is the exact thing that is driving people away from your facility and golf in general.

We usually love playing this course due to layout and conditions. Once we heard about the fungus issues we stayed clear for a month or two but heard of improvement so we went back. Safe to say greens are getting better and at about 80%. Staff was absolutely terrible. We were just there on Saturday had no range balls and no warm up facility. I arrived 1 hour and 15 minutes before the round for the club pro to tell us the members took all the ball and they staff was out picking now. So we go to the putting green to get some sort of warm up in and we see the guy whose supposed to be picking the range hitting balls onto the range. 2 months ago the greens were dirt, today they look amazing. They are not perfect, but more than 90% good. The fairways are excellent, the tee boxes are in good shape. I still can’t believe they got the greens back so quickly. I stayed away from Red Tail because of the green problem. I read a good review so decided to give it a look. What a pleasant surprise. I’ll be back soon. Compliments to the staff for a job well done. I included a photo of #18 green, some of the other look even better.

Course in very good shape. Keeping the greens a little long but very nice.

They had some killing of grass on the greens earlier in the year when I played there, but that is almost entirely gone and the greens are in very good shape. I Love this course as it is not overly difficult yet enough of a challenge to keep you on your toes. Course was in very good shape from tee to green. I would recommend this course to anyone who is in the area.

The course has really cone around the last two weeks. The staff is working hard and it shows on the course from tee to green. All the course maintenance guys, pro shop and especially Joe in the cart barn are super friendly. I will be playing here weekly from now on. Great job to the whole staff.

I found course in very good shape tee to green. Yes there were 4 or 5 greens in fair condition but they were much improved from the round I played 3 weeks ago. I will spend more time here this summer. The staff is accommodating and very friendly. Will be back soon.

As we approached the 11th green a black bear ran across it from right to left. After we putted out we found him again asleep at the rear of a new house being built.as we headed to the 12th tee

You better be a really good player if you did not land in the Fairway if your just off in the rough grass has lots of weeds. Lots of hills I felt like I was on a roller coaster with the golf cart.

What makes the experience so bad is the fact that I’ve played there when it was pristine, so sad!!

Great course. Challenging. Greens are under-repair and the pro-shop warned us of that. It will definitely add a stroke to every hole for the time being. It's worth it given the price right now. I would definitely play it again even with the greens in the current condition.
