About
Windy Harbor Golf Club is a military golf course located at the Mayport Naval Station, it was formerly known as the Mayport Golf Club. The seaside course now takes its name from the blustery ocean breezes that sweep through the back nine. The golf course is narrow with tree-lined fairways and large, fast greens that are slightly sloped. There is also a defined cut of rough beside every fairway. Greenside bunkers and water hazards that come into play on nearly every hole make the course challenging for players of all abilities. Windy Harbor Golf Club also has practice facilities for golfers to use that include a driving range with grass and carpeted practice tees, a practice sand trap, and a large putting green.

Mayport Windy Harbor
Always a challenge with coastal winds. Another good day playing Windy Harbor. The wind was different yesterday and a severe storm with rain passed through on the back nine which added to the fun. Wind gusts 45-50 mph for 2 holes with rain. Challenging.. I’m a single golfer so I look forward to playing here whether by myself or being able to join another group. You meet interesting people and more often than not someone you get paired with is an outstanding or better than average golfer which adds to the challenge and enjoyment. 4 sets of tees so a lot of options here. The staff - civilians or retired navy for the most part are considerate and professional. Always a nice day.. rain, sun and wind

Good challenging golf course with excellent golf staff!!! Greens are a little rough at this time.
Pleasantly surprised
I was happy to see how the greens have come back. The crew there really has put in a lot of work over the past couple months and it shows! I’ll be adding this course back to my normal rotation after seeing it this way. There were some cancer spots on probably half the greens, but they are actively being repaired. The greens rolled well, but are a tad slow.

WINDY HARBOR
The course is great shape the 🥬 are good. The fairways most of them are good. A few bad tee boxes but nothing to complain about.
Hot, Hot, and more Hot
Course is fun to play even with the heat. Only complaint is some greens have some bad spots and they are a little bit slow. Fairways are nice and bunkers and tees are in good condition. Will definitely play Windy again.
