Trump National Doral Miami - Golden Palm Course

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Course conditions were very good - with the exception of a couple of tee boxes. Greens were very quick and rolled true. Range balls were included and the range facility was very nice, Note the day I played you hit off a mat.

As a new golfer, I was honestly a bit intimidated heading to the Golden Palm Course at Trump National Golf Club. The course has such a prestigious reputation, and I wasn’t sure if my skills would measure up. But from the moment I arrived, I was put at ease by the friendly, professional staff who made me feel right at home.

The Golden Palm Course turned out to be challenging yet very approachable for someone like me. The layout is absolutely stunning, and while there are some tough holes, the design of the course gives you room to breathe. I didn’t feel overwhelmed, even though there were moments where I had to really think about my shots. There are enough forgiving areas and shorter holes where I was able to take my time and enjoy the game. The fairways are beautifully maintained, and the greens are true, so it’s easy to see where your ball is going, even if your swing isn’t perfect just yet.

The strategic design of the course makes it enjoyable for golfers at any level. I never felt pressured to keep up with faster players, and I actually learned a lot just by soaking in the course and watching how others played. The atmosphere at Trump National is welcoming, and the staff is more than happy to give tips or advice, which made me feel supported throughout my round.

And let me not forget the views—this place is gorgeous! The scenery is truly breathtaking, and I found myself just enjoying the experience of being out there, no matter how my game was going. After the round, I was able to relax in the beautiful clubhouse, which offered a great place to unwind and reflect on the day.

In short, the Golden Palm Course is perfect for golfers of all skill levels, even if you're just starting out like me. It's a beautiful, challenging, yet approachable course, and I’m already looking forward to my next round there. If you’re a new golfer and feeling intimidated, don’t be—it’s an experience you’ll remember for years to come.

We played Gold Palm Course and it was not in good condition. But restaurant and Pro Shop is amazing🇺🇸⛳️🙏🏻👍

Just go play here. Arrive a couple hours early, enjoy the views, hit on the range, work on your short game, go play your best round.

What can I say? This course was amazing. The entire setup was great. We had a downpour ridden afternoon round and the course held up beautifully. It was a tough but fair layout with a lot of risk/reward tee shots. The amenities were great.

Great course but front 9 greens were airated and unpleasant to putt… rest of the course in great shape

Rain was coming so the pro shop got us out 2 hrs early. Ended up on the Sliver course. From walking in to leaving, experience is top notch. Well worth the money on a deal time. Valet parking added $30, but clubs were taken care of at the door. Course conditions are pristine. Greens were super firm and true despite the rain. Lots of staff available and full locker rooms to clean/shower after your round. Every hole has its challenges and water in play on most holes. A shot makers course. Hit your landing areas! Play smart and get around the greens well and you can score

The gold course was unplayable as the greens were recently punched and should not have been open for play.

Course layout was very good, not quite as good condition as the blue but very good. Pace of play got pretty slow at the end but acceptable. Greens were quick and true. Some tees were a little sketchy but nothing awful.

Was totally looking forward to playing this club for first time. It was an awful experience. From checking in to confusion around no carts available to delayed tee time, carts would stop you with no direction as to which way to go. We finally left a couple holes early and left our cart because it got locked. The staff was very friendly and lunch was fine. This place needs a brand new process.
