Killian Greens Golf Club
About
Popular among locals, the course at Killian Greens Golf Club is affordable and challenging. The golf course is quite narrow and built on flat terrain, making it easy to walk. Although there is little elevation change, the greens are sloped and firm. The fairways are narrow and there are sand bunkers situated throughout the course. Canals and lakes create water hazards that come into play on 14 holes. The course features three sets of tees to adapt the game to a variety of different skill levels and abilities. Killian Green Golf Club also boasts a special learning program for kids on their practice course.

Nice day for Golf at Killian.
It’s always a pleasure returning to Killian Golf Course .
Overplayed and overpriced
This course is way overplayed. Management clearly doesn’t care about your golfing experience, just cramming as many tee times in as possible. When you’ve got a 920 tee time and don’t tee off till 950 there’s a serious problem. Every tee box is beaten up and borderline unplayable. The only redeeming feature of this course is the great BBQ that moves into the clubhouse
Course scheduled a bus load of golfers, most only played 1 or 2 rounds a year. Some of the golfers had never played before and knew nothing about how to conduct themselves on a golf course.
The round required 6 hours to play and nothing was being done to speed up play.
In addition the GPS in 2 different carts failed to function at all.
This course deserves better management than it's currently receives.
Much improved!
This course is probably in the best shape it has ever been in. This place use to be a cow pasture. The course overall, has gotten a lot of love. The greens are all in relatively good shape, the bunkers have sand and the fairways are taken care of (although a bit firm). All in all you can't beat the value. If you play on Wednesday it's only $30 to ride, but be aware that the course is going to be PACKED and pace will be slow. That's if you can get on.
Pee in the trees
I haven’t played a lot of course but I enjoy playing here. Sometimes it seems slow moving. Needs bathrooms, there aren’t any on the entire course.
A casual play, but really slow
For the price, the course is as expected with a small (very small pro shop). Restaurant attached is very good.
Needs a marshal to keep up pace of play. It's ok to be new golfers, but with a marshal to keep up pace of play or show etiquette, continuous backup on the course. Also let through a group larger than 4 players, which holds up everyone up.
Also let back 9 starts without a starter present. Was a ridiculous pace of play with the additional people..
*Watch out for twilight time, carts are required back at a certain time and you may not finish all 18 if you start too late, they'll collect the pins.
STAY AWAY
My bathroom is bigger than the pro shop. They change their prices. The staff internally want to die when working. Tee times stacked on top of eachother. I actually can’t think of anything good to say it was that bad. Don’t waste your money on this course if you read reviews like I do before going to new courses this is your sign to click off this one and don’t look back.
Surely this is a joke?
Showed up to course for my $33.00 tee time(good price IMO) then was told it was $30 dollars extra for rider in cart. By that logic green fees are $3 and rider fees are $30. Not sure how much sense that makes.....
Bad pace of play. Overbooked
Not enough carts. More tee times booked than the course can accommodate. It took 3 hours to play the front nine. Cashier was rude. Pins picked up at 6:00 and we were forced to quit playing on the 16 th hole with at least 30 minutes if daylight left. Tee boxes are atrocious. Overall very poor experience.
not good
fairways in poor condition as was the greens. looked like grass i have in my backyard.
balls roll an extra 20 yards since ground is so hard.
wasnt a pretty course either.
Greens are fast, firm and healthy. Course is very firm, bouncy fairways. The improvements are still growing in on tee boxes. We really appreciate the walking rates. We teed off at 11 am and finished in 3:26 walking, golf should not take longer than 3:45 pick it up people
If all of Miami wanted to golf at 2:30pm on a Friday what do you think Killian Greens would say?
Absolutely! Terrible management, never returning.
Great Course for fun and small challenge
A 30 handicapper here and about 6 months of play:
It was a fun course with some challenging shots. Some dogleg lefts/right but mostly straight and forgiving; even with my slices. Definitely still easy to hit balls into the surrounding houses though.
Course was mostly well kept although some of the greens around the edge were bad, and some of the sand pit didn't have rakes or were more rocks than sand.
Price and value is great, plaed 18 holes with cart included for $35 per person. Pro shop is a little small but they had a quaint restaurant right there for you.
