About
Popular among locals, the course at Killian Greens Golf Club is affordable and challenging. The golf course is quite narrow and built on flat terrain, making it easy to walk. Although there is little elevation change, the greens are sloped and firm. The fairways are narrow and there are sand bunkers situated throughout the course. Canals and lakes create water hazards that come into play on 14 holes. The course features three sets of tees to adapt the game to a variety of different skill levels and abilities. Killian Green Golf Club also boasts a special learning program for kids on their practice course.

SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND FIND ANOTHER COURSE
The tee boxes aren’t tee boxes, there sand boxes, the club rentals my poor friend paid 50$ for we’re a mix up of Childrens clubs and 50 year old ping wedges, no putter, no driver for $50…. Thrown together from left behind clubs ! 70$ per person and was the worst experience ever. The fairways are so soft you can’t take divot if you tried, the rough is Litterally rough. It’s as hard as concrete. Around the greens the grass Litterally concrete and the greens were punched and rolled like garbage. Pace of play was the worst I’ve ever seen in my life. new owners are absolutely terrible they only care about money and that’s it. To top it all off my pencil wasn’t sharp and they couldn’t provide another one because all the carts were already out.
Improved but can and should be better
Been playing at Killian for years and can appreciate the improvements of late. The greens are much better of late and the work to maintain them is appreciated. The tee boxes however are still torn up and filled with sand. My biggest opportunity however is keeping order to things… people tee off the 10th hole at will when they see the first hole backed up. Pace of play needs to be addressed. As the prices keep going up you would think that standards would keep pace. Hoping that is the case in the future as this course has a great layout, is a great location and very convenient.
Needs to be in better condition
The course is ok if you’re playing a practice round and don’t care about your final score. Every lie on the fairway is a thin lie and the surface on the greens is irregular. To be fair, the course is better than the last time I played it, but it’s still not a good value.
First time in Killian Golf course
You cannot give 1/2 stars on ratings, I think the overall rating is 3 1/2. Tbox not good, fairways and greens good. The course layout is good. I liked it and will play there again.
Pretty good
This place is pretty good for the price. They have done some work to improve it. The Greens are in decent shape. Dont expect a 5 star Golf course, but for the money, it is not bad.
Decent Course, Horrendous Management
My wife and I arrived just before 11:00 for an 11:17 tee time. When I arrived at the check in desk I was informed that they were our of carts and we had another couple in front of us waiting for the next cart that came back. They could not even provide an estimate of when a cart would be available for us. They also had 7 groups at the 1st tee box waiting to tee off along with 5 groups waiting at #10. I politely let the cashier know that we were not interested in waiting and to please clear us from the tee sheet.
Two days later I was contacted by GolfNow letting me know that the course had instructed them to charge me to two rounds as a "no show fee". I clearly was not a no show so I contacted GolfNow, who provided absolutely no assistance. I had to resort to a credit card dispute to avoid paying for the course's mistakes. We will not play this course again in spite of the fact that it is a decent course with good conditions.
Good for the price
At check-in the young lady was less than friendly. Too busy eating at 10:15. Chaged me after I told her that I already paid on Golf Now. I did not want to make a scene. After the round another young lady corrected the double charge. She was much friendlier.
No More
After playing this local course for over 25 years they have officially lost my business for good. The course was over booked as always and in terrible condition. The rates are ridiculously high and to top it off they over booked tee times and a tournament. My actually tee time was pushed back 45 minutes to accommodate a tournament that didn’t start on time because they did not like the morning conditions. After asking for a refund or to start on the back nine I was rudely responded by the clubhouse staff who basically responded to bad. At the end of the day, I am taking my business elsewhere instead of the comfort of playing close to home.
This course need a new manager
We had booked a tee time online for a good price, but when we came to the course we had to wait almost one hour beacuse the course was clerly overbooket. We only got one cart for 3 persons because they were empty for golfcarts. The pace was horrible and since we had used more then 3 hours for the first 9 holes we asked to finish the last 9 holes the next day. The people who worked there could not give us such a deal cause it was clear that the manager was not giving them any say in anything. They were clearly frustrated themself for the policy of the club. I do not recommend any this golfcourse before they have a new manager. PS: Im a tourist from Scandinavia so my english is not that good.
Windy Day Tee
Overall this is a great course for the price and location. it was rather windy as there was a strong cold front coming in which played into certain shot strategies.
The course was in good condition for a public course. the golf carts do not have GPS and need some basic maintenance.
It gets the Job Done
Decent place and course. Friendly and accommodating staff.
