About
The Silver Fox Course (formerly known as Jim McLean Course) is one of five 18-hole courses at Trump National Doral Miami. The courses offer a good game for players of any skill level. Unlike the Gold Course at the resort, the Silver Fox Course does not follow a traditional Floridian layout. There are elevated tee boxes and greens and narrow, rolling fairways. The golf course features an interesting variety of holes, short and long. Water hazards come into play on 16 holes of the 18 holes and there are also bunkers situated throughout. The course's signature hole is the 14th, which has an island green.

Slow
The silver(old Mclean) course is great, pace of play awful.
We understand COVID, butvthey need rangers on course...awful sliw

Great challenging course with beautiful fairways and greens!
Coarse is amazing
Due to Covid
Staff is limited to service they can provide
But are doing their best under Covid
Keep up the good work and I can’t wait too golf there again
Greens were lightening
Fun environment and awesome property. The conditions were not amazing. The greens are in great shape, and super fast. Course layout was average, some holes were a lot of fun and some were rather boring.
The silver fox course is more difficult than the red tiger I would say. The conditions were phenomenal. The conditions at all of the courses at Trump doral are near perfect. Some of the best courses I’ve ever played they are must plays. also by far the nicest staff I have ever encountered at any course or resort.

Great course, Pace of play needs work
Awesome course, greens roll fast, fairways are well maintained and the layout is amazing. Pace of play was terrible. Believe there was a buddies tournament of some sort ahead of us playing at a snails pace. Started just after 1 and barely got in 18 as the sun was basically down. No Marshall’s to enforce pace of play rules etc. other than that loved it
