Costa Del Sol Golf Club
About
Just a short distance southwest of the Miami International Airport, the golf course at Costa dels Sol Golf Club is a challenging public course that also boasts scenic views. Although the terrain is mostly flat, this course's difficult comes from the narrow fairways that are lined with trees. The greens are medium sized with some being slightly elevated. Water hazards come into play on the majority of the holes and there are also some sand bunkers as well. The signature hole of the course is the par 3 14th hole, which requires a tee shot past water. Costa del Sol Golf Club also has five long, narrow par 5s as well as some scenic par 3s.

Nightmare
Plane and simple course is terrible, looks more like a park people walking thru the course. ,jogging , kids in golf carts racing in fairways .
I feel they just took my money could not finish round .
Waste ofmoney
Kids riding golf carts all over the course cutting in play
.pleaple walking and riding bike as you try to play .
Course very rough
Costa Del Sol - narrow
You have to be a shot maker, very narrow and some holes not laid out well.
Greens are awesome. Layout is good.
Tee boxes and fairways are AWFUL.
Tee boxes are beat up.
Fairways are hard, dry and no grass.
Very close to busy roads
The greens were in good shape but the course is laid out next to a lot of apartment buildings and busy roads. Hard to focus on your shot when you hear nothing but car horns and traffic. If you have a misshot chances are good it’s going in the road or hitting a building which makes for a stressful time.
Putts stop on the downslope like mud
I was happy to find weeds on the fairway to hit from. My 7am online booking had the pro shop open at 7:15. One green completed covered in leaves which made it faster thankfully. Fairways like bowling lame width. Just bot a course you want to play
John Herzberg
Played this course for The first time greens were excellent easy to read fabulous shape like the incidentally water around the course didn’t have any problems with that felt that the second cut around the greens need work and the fairways needs a little work but otherwise it was enjoyable and a very nice golf course great value for the money would recommend it to anyone who wants to play
Not for beginners
The course is sandwiched into a neighborhood where the houses are almost on top of the green. They have signs posted saying that any damaged caused the golfer is responsible for, yet they do nothing to help limit the damage. There isn’t a lot of netting to prevent balls from leaving the course and into Miami traffic. Also, a few of the greens have houses and cars directly behind them. All in all, a beginner would be mostly afraid to play here. I would not recommend it unless you are an intermediate to advanced player.
This course is pretty good for a city course. Although much of the fairway was not perfectly cut and there were patches here and there, the greens are very well kept and true. Played a good 18 at a good pace. Would come here again next time I’m in the area
Course demands accuracy.
The course is tight and demands accuracy off the tee. Three of the par 5's are alongside of busy streets so, you will need to use the straightest club in your bag. Water is in play on 8 of tbe holes but, with good course management you will survive. It's a fun course but demands respect.
Better Than Expected
I had not played Cosa Del Sol for almost four years. Course conditions exceeded expectations. Plenty grass on the fairways and the greens were in above average condition. They rolled true. I will play again. A different layout compared to other South Florida courses. A nice change.
