Poor Course Conditions
To say the greens and most fairways are in poor condition is an understament.
Unheard of
I was shocked when i went to pay my green fee. First, they give a senior discount, second, they lowered the overall greens fee because they had aerated the greens about a month ago. Unfortunately, some of the greens, most actually, had developed a fungus so they were pretty slow, bald and bumpy. Only 1 fairway was just aerated and they were doing more in advance of the upcoming rain.
I have never heard of a course discounting because of aeration. Most of the time, they dont even say anything and you find out when you're on the course, which is shiesty. I appreciated that discount.
The day was beautiful. Sunny and barely any wind. A great day of golf.

A fun course
I have played dublin many times and has always been a great course, but I have to say the greens were terrible not sure what is going on with that. They made it very hard to read and get the score you should of gotten, they were very bumpy and went every way but straight.
But overall i would recommend playing Dublin.

Fungus among us, terrible conditions
Really bad not cared for full price for a unplayable course.
Greens are a joke, fairways a mess, tee box’s not much better.
I hope they get it together, it’s a nice layout.

I would recommend once the greens are fixed
The corse is really great, aside from the greens. I forgot what the problem is called, but the grass on the green is so severely splotched with what I’m assuming is some sort of “grass disease,” that it really takes away from the round. Other then that, the course and staff are fantastic. Once the greens are fixed, I’ll be returning...but not until then.

Course was great. Greens are a little beat up right now but they told us in advance.

False GN info
The greens were terrible, some kind of fungus.
This leading to an "automatic" 2 putt as the ball
bounced all over the place. GN/DR had NO WARNINGS
about the POOR condition of the greens.
Muddy, ridiculous greens and pace of play .
Had to change shoes after 9 holes, because my relatively new shoes got ruined by the mud everywhere .Spent half the time, two hours plus, waiting. You know adout the greens, The sixteenth green actually had hole,no not the putting hole,in it.
This is a poor excuse for a golf course. I will warn other players not to play the course.

Greens are dying
Been playing DR since it opened. The worst condition ever.
It might be helpful to let reviewers know exactly WHAT STEPS are being taken to restore the course and WHEN it is likely to be back in shape. A PLAN OF ACTION maybe ??

Greens are ruined
Always enjoy playing here as it is one of the better executive coursed. However, the greens are ruined. Not sure what happened but its no fun when you dont have smooth putting surfaces. Its like they died off in places so your ball looks like it headed down a bumpy dirt road after you hit it. I will be back, but not for awhile and after I can confirm they have fixed the greens.
