I was told by the staff that they told Golf Now about current conditions but I did not get word till I was at the course . I blame Golf Now for this and now this is the second time Golf Now has give me a bad deal . Last time I was charged for not being at my tee time and I was . They charged me 35 dollars for missing a tee time and I did not . I played and paid extra for nothing . Totally disappointed now at Golf Now and pay attention prior to booking and when you pay , keep your receipt . I played Mesa Linda in Costa Mesa on October 3 , paid the green fee only to be charged for not showing .

Worst course I’ve ever played, more dirt than fairway, greens were mostly dirt and cracked dirt at that. No real sand in bunkers, front nine and driving range we closed when I played so we had to play the back nine twice and they didn’t tell me that when I booked it. And to boot there was no running water and all the bathrooms at the clubhouse and on the course were closed up. Don’t waste your money here!

The course is very short on cash and it is reflected in its condition. They are currently trying to reseed both the greens (which they completely lost) and the fairways 9 holes at a time. The front 9 are currently closed and under renovation. The back will begin in a few weeks. I would stay away from this course until at least January. It’s not worth it at any price right now.

Front 9 is closed for overseed so you play the back 9 twice. It’s a little rough but still great value. Looking forward to playing the front 9 when it reopens

Played 18 holes this morning for under $30! I enjoy playing here for the fun, unique layout that constantly presents new challenges. The greens need help but still roll decent. We played the back 9 twice as the front 9 is finishing up with greens re seeding and fairway overseed. Can't wait to come play the front in a week or so.

This course should be a fun one but the conditions keep getting worse. No grass in fairways and the greens are nonexistent on every hole. Front 9 was closed so had to play back 9 twice. Will not waste any money here again till they repair the whole course. Don’t understand why they don’t care.

Was a member in 2009 when it first opened and was a great golf course. It has been going down hill for the last 4 to 5 years. They have the front secured to over seed (hope it is done right). The back has no grass and greens are in awful shape, looks like they had a fungus problem that killed 3/4 of the surface. I just use this for practicing my long game. Impossible to putt the way it is right now. Hope to see major improvements. Can't beat the layout.

I play here often for the fun layout and excellent value. They are working on getting better conditions. Front 9 is closed for overseed. The back 9 is great so we just play it twice to get in 18.

I haven't seen golf course like this, it is so terrible.

Played the back 9 twice. Front is closed for greens rehab and overseed. Discounted rate at $32 is a steal. Will be back later this week for some more..

We still enjoyed our day even though fairways were patchy, greens reminded me of my great Grandpa's head with little patches here and there. Would like to play a game when course conditions are better?

Fairways have little or no grass. green are okay. The burms are not kept up. Carts are okay. Cafe not open early.

Course is in shambles. Greens have lost most of it's grass, fairways have very little turf, tee's haven't been mowed in weeks, bunker unkept in weeks. Very sad for a great course and lay-out. Not sure it can recover from it's current condition.

This could be a gem. It has the back drop, the valley and the links play. It's a fun layout but course conditions are not going to help your game. Dirt fairways and patchy greens. Bunkers are hazards. The best thing about playing here is it makes you appreciate a well taken care of course. But when you get a golf now deal for $15 it's hard to resist every now and again.

I play here often for the fun unique layout and challenging play. They are repairing the greens on the front 9 right now so you play the back 9 twice. Conditions are a bit on the rougher side and the track is challenging. It truly is an incredible value, very playable. I consistently shoot in the high 70’s. Will be back later this week.

I’ve been on a quest to try new and different courses in So Cal, as there are many to choose from. I booked this hot deal on line and neglected to read posted reviews. Arrived at the course with my group, I found the parking lot surprisingly empty. We checked in at the pro shop and clubhouse, both were actually very nice, but the restaurant and bar were closed. The staff seemed a little uninterested an laid back. Loaded clubs into the cart and went to the 1st tee. What a disappointment. Sadly, the course is in need of a whole lot of love. Very little grass In the fairways and the greens were a disaster! Luckily my golf partner convinced me to just have fun and let all the rest go!!!!! If this course were well maintained it would undoubtedly be a fantastic experience. Sad to see. Hopefully it can be turned around.

It's a great layout and links course are fun, but the conditions on the greens and fairways is unplayable right now for anything other than just F'ing around... Bar wasn't open this time either. Wish someone else would take it over and take care of the course like it deserves.
