River Oaks Golf Club

Got in back of a slow fivesome that the staff continued to let play. Had to skip around holes to avoid a 5+hr round that usually takes less than 3 hrs.

Got stuck behind some very slow players who kept losing clubs and didn't let people play through. 3 hole gap through 8 holes. No marshall.

Fun, fair course and the greens are really maintained well. A few blind shots that we should have driven up to see..

No water or bathrooms on the.Course. but the bar was happy to provide ice water.

Would play again.

BTW MANY holes are directly adjacent, so you see people in your fairway or even shooting across your fairway on doglegs.

The course was in very good condition considering California's current drought situation. The fairways and greens where well maintained and very green.

Nice course and layout. We’ll be back. However, very slow play and the Marshall never came by to check on us. Greens were cut high so they were slow and some were very bumpy. No rakes in traps. Confusing signage. Clubhouse closed at 4 on a Sunday so we couldn’t get an after the round ice cold drink and it was a blistering hot day. Very annoying.

Would have like to see a drink cart rolling around on this hot day. Staff hardly acknowledged our presence in the club house. I enjoyed playing the course but would like to se more customer service

Great fun and challenging course. Played it a couple of weeks ago and I had to play it again. Shot even better. Worth the drive from Stockton. Props to the maintenance crew who take care of this beautiful golf course.

the course was in great shape the only problem was the greens had been sanded

I didn’t know what to expect here, first time playing here. Course was in good condition, greens had a lot of sand on some holes. Very few people on course. Was able to play an entire round in 1 hour 55 minutes. I liked playing here but there are no bells and whistles on the carts, which is fine with me but having never played here before I had no idea where a few pins were at. I almost played the wrong one twice. No course layout on the scorecard. The cart path needs 100% improvements. No beverage cart here today. Staff very friendly. I would play here again.

The course was in good condition and the greens were above average. The course's Chat feature didn't work the two times I tried it and nobody at the pro shop answered the phone when I called.

That said the course was as good or better than I've ever seen it and I had fun after not playing for over a year. I've played here many times and enjoy the course as long as the pace of play is fast which it often is. If it's slow and it's as hot and windless as it can get in the summer, it can be brutal.
