Fairways and rough cut down greens we're aerated recently but ball rolled true on difficult slow

The course was in terrible condition. Weeds all over the fairways. No direction signs for new players. No drinking water on the course. The course failed to mention greens satiation so putting was almost impossible.

I wasted my time and money

I like this course and I like the value, but there was lots of crab grass on the course today. Some of the tee boxes had pretty long grass also. The greens were in decent shape though.

The is in good condition, the green also, looked beautiful. However, the greens were dreadfully slow. Other than that, a good day on the course.

I've played River Oaks quite a few times over the last few years. The course is a very nice, no-frills, course out among the orchards along the river levee. The course has always been in good condition and the greens are always nice. The practice area is all grass, no mats. The only negative is there are no on-course water jugs, so bring your own.

I've always liked this course. If you look at it on a map, or just the scorecard yardages, you might think it's just a simple little course. It is not. It has plenty of tricks to it.

This course is well worth your money and time.

Oh, and the bloodymaries are absolutely the best around. ;)

Great course and practice facilities. Why is there NO WATER on course. Come on put at least 1 at midpoints. It’s not like anyone is going to steal them. Evan lowly Cordova course has a marshall that will ask you for water at least twice a roun

This is an overall nice track for the money. Course was in good shape. It was about $10-15 cheaper for an early weekend round than similar courses in the Sacramento area. It requires a little bit of a drive, but its a good deal all around.

Love this course. Some challenging holes, especially #11 from the back tees. Note the greens were a bit spongy taking my putts away at the end. A couple times you could see a groove like the greens cutting machine tire sunk into the green. But it could be anything. I would pay attention to this. As the ball slows down, the grooves pull the ball away. Probably letting the greens grow a bit due to heat. Noticed this elsewhere as well lately too. Just something to know for now. But this facility has made significant course improvements & is one of my favorite as a result.

Great place to walk a course and enjoy the day. The staff was friendly and bathrooms were clean. My only downside is that there’s no rest rooms out on the course.

This place is great to play. If you’re looking for a course to have a great time and have a little challenge but not to much this is it. 15 minutes out of Natomas out in the country. You can’t go wrong! I will play here again. The greens are nice and kept up really well. Not to fast of a green but very steady role. Enjoy and Cheers 🍻

I played on 6/19. The course is in beautiful shape. It's very playable, and yet a good challenge. Greens are in very good shape. I'll play yere again. The fries in the clubhouse are excellent, too, and a great bargain at $3.

I enjoy playing the course. Pace of play was okay, short wait on a few tees. Course is in excellent condition. Only negative, drill closed early. Finished round about 4PM. We were looking forward to enjoying the beautiful afternoon with food snack, so that was a disappointment. There are many food options in the vicinity .
