River Oaks Golf Club

Play this course once every other year… it’s in the best condition ever. Fees are reasonable

They really improved since they were taken over by a new owner! The fairways are in excellent condition and the greens have filled in nicely. Even in the rainy season, the drainage is better than other courses with higher playing fees. Only thing I wished they had was a marshal to get the slow players moving and maybe a beer cart. After finishing your round, follow it up with a cold beer and tacos! 🌮 Trust me the cook knows how to make REALLY GOOD TACO!! Draw back is kitchen closes by 3-4 pm. I recommend this course to seasoned players and newbies that like a wide open field!!

Haven't played this course for a couple years & I'm extremely inpressed w/ the greens crew. Great work & thank you! Plush fairways, consistent cut rough & tee boxes, greens a bit soft but true roll. Noticed a couple dirt bunkers, but most very well maintained. Grass range has a slight slope but it's grass. Who would complain about that! Pro Shop and food & beverage inside very nice & courteous too. But note they close up at 4:30pm while there are many people still playing & there are no water jugs or cart going around. But I will be back & look forward to it.

Very nice flat course situated out in the country, surrounded by walnut tree groves. Great course for less accurate players. Still have shot after wayward drives. Would definitely play it again.

Best course around, greens are in great shape. Fairways great, really nice place. Country golf, relaxed, nice vibe. Grass practise range.

Amazing practice facilities. Sand trap practice area along with driving range and putting green.

Was going to hit my shag balls but probable 80 golf balls left on practice area

My only complaint is there is no water on course or drink cart. Stock up on a hot day

Not expecting much off a long dusty highway but was pleasantly surprised by the lush fairways, well manicured greens and quick pace. Greens were a little slow but well maintained. Fellow golfers were courteous and respectful. Staff were quick and efficient. Highly recommend, keep up the good work River Oaks!

It was a nice day and the course was in very good condition. But, allow a walking fivesome really slow the pace of play and was on the disruptive side.

Course was in great condition fairways and rough mowed with sand in bunkers golfed under 4 hoirs

The pro shop staff was extremely accomodating. My buddy and I happened to run in to an old friend that we had not seen for a few years. The pro managed to get us joined up with our friend's twosome. It is grately appreciated by all of us.
