About
Historic Miami Shores Country Club offers a classic 18-hole championship golf course that is the home of a vast array of sub-tropical wildlife and vegetation. The Club has been host to a number of prestigious events including the Florida State Open.
Celebrities such as Bob Hope, Joe DiMaggio, Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead and Lee Trevino have graced the lush fairways.
The front nine calls for precise approach shots into small well bunkered, contoured greens. The incoming nine calls for well-placed tee shots.
This Red Laurence designed course offers other amenities like a 120 seat lounge with a panoramic view of the golf course and lighted driving range, six clay tennis courts, three hard courts, swimming pool, extra large men's and ladies' locker rooms and a staff that understands the meaning of service.

Terrible Experience
I had to wait over 20 minutes at each tee before driving the ball due to the course being overbooked. The poor management led to a frustrating experience, and after six hours, we left after only completing 13 holes.

Congratulations to all the staff you do a really amazing job taking care of all,,, just the WC at the in door area where are the rooms and restaurant smells really bad
Great course
This is a very forgiving course with very wide fairways and elevated greens. Fairways have a good amount of grass when you hit and around the greens as well which makes chipping more easy! Greens are fast and true and some greens are small. What’s interesting about this course the bright line trains run right though the heart of the golf course.
Super nice golf course!
Friendly staff in the office. Very well maintained facility. My husband and I are intermediate golfers. This golf course is perfect for us, not too easy and not too hard for us to play!
No marshal and terrible greens
Miami Shores is a course with nice layout. Yesterday although there was no marshall present, lot of amateur groups right after each other and we played first 9 holes for 3 hours!
Greens are in terrible condition - disease all over them, ball jumps up and down and left and right.
Fairways are decent and staff is very friendly as always.
All they need is a good marshal as it is peak season in Miami!
Needs Maintenance
I love and use frequently Miami Shores as my Golf Driving and practice Facility.
But when it comes to playing the course it is in bad shape. Particularly the greens and tee boxes. I believe it is a consequence of heavy player traffic.
The layout is tight on a short course.

Course could be great
Newer to golf so don’t understand the methods behind having so many tee times and allowing singles or twosomes to slow up the entire course. Tj The course layout is horrible with patrons zipping around looking for proper tee box, while golfers are teeing off within 20 yards of a 5 way intersection. Not to mention a train screaming by. I say all this to say , thank goodness for golf now discount, I’d never paid $180 (non-resident rate) for this club.
ps you pay gratuity and don’t even get offered a quick club wipe down.
Not a good value
This course was not in great condition. I certainly expected more for the money.
