Overall good experience
Helpful to have a beverage cart on the course and ability to have food delivered, instead of collecting after passing the 9th hole.
Staff rude
Made fun of my friends cheap shirt. Pace of play was slow with no ranger. Cart girl was awesome on 16th hole when we finally saw her. Lady at front desk rude. The starter was most rude though. Word for word, “this is golf we don’t wear no $10 shirts. We wear $100 shirts.” Really?
Wow
Great course. Tee boxes & green were in great shape. Maybe 2-3 holes were shortened due to water in the fairway. There was a recent deluge of rain (one month amount in 3 days). They were actively draining the mini ponds.
The greens were all elevated. Probably designed that way with flooding in mind. The air was thick with humidity, which shortened distance. Lots of water and it came into play (lay up or else). There was respect for possibility of gators and another player mentioned there was a bull shark (but he could’ve been pulling my leg).
The carts did not have GPS. For $100+ round, gps is basic. But, would recommend. May not play here again bc there are so many courses to try.
First not last
Course , pace of play, was great.
Carts are a little tired.
Disappointed that there was no cart person or gps in the carts, making it a little more difficult to navigate around. Greens are rolling true and around 10.
Got the “deal” special which would line up with regular rack rate for a comparable course back home., maybe that’s why we had the course to ourselves??
The course is in great shape. The tee boxes are impressive and very nice. The greens are smooth and fast. The pace of play was also great. I finished in about 3 hours. The layout of the course could be improved, but other than that, it is a great course with very friendly staff. The food in the restaurant is very good too. Excellent service all around. Thanks!
The course has a few interesting holes
Greens were in good shape fast
Unfortunately pace of play was terribly slow
Played as a twosome, no flow
Good thing 3 groups in front of us decided to quit otherwise it would have been 6 hours to play
Everyone we encountered were very pleasant to deal with which made for our first time playing the course memorable
3 Star
Staff rude one day and then a freindly one the next.
The course has potential if the condition was there as it had some fun short holes.
The greens were slightly sanded but were so fast it was like tournament speed and brilliant to play on.
Bar/restaurant was nice however the food was just ok and the service was just ok.
Course is in great shape, but that’s all I can say
It’s crazy how for the price there isn’t a single water cooler out on the course , and there also wasn’t a single beverage cart. Not a single amenity. I’ve played at numerous courses for half the price that had free water bottles, on cart coolers, and beverage/snack service.
Staff is fantastic, course is ok, maybe above average.
OK, I want to first start with the positives. The staff there are extremely nice, helpful, and really cool. They do a great job.
I just don't think the price I paid versus the value of the course was right. I could see paying maybe $35 for this course, but over $70?? It would need to be that step above, compared to other courses in the Southern Florida area. And it was not, I wouldn't say it was bad, just ok slightly above average.
I did get there where they had so much sand on the greens, like they had recently really small punched/aerated the greens and then put sand on them. The good thing is the sand didn't affect the lines or the speed. The tee boxes and fairways were really great shape, but the rough was very rough, with lots of dirt patches and hard to hit from ground in many areas.
I don't think I will be back, unless I can get a much better price to play that matches the course.
Fun course, slow pace
Seems like they might overpack the tee-times and attract novice golfers that don’t keep a traditional pace. Had to wait 30 minutes after our original tee time to get started due to course delays and lack of carts. Often waiting for players ahead of us taking 8-12 shots per hole. I don’t have issue with novice players however it can be challenging when they lead to a 5.5-6 hour round.
