Bolingbrook Golf Club

Not worth the money.........paid on-line for $94 and then found out that we had to pay another $12 for a cart when we got to the course, total $106. Course condition was a joke, greens were that of a $20 municipal course. Pace of play was horrible and no rangers out to help it. Was a 5+ hour round, waited to hit on almost every shot. Will never play here again

This used to be one of the best courses in the Chicagoland area but now is a goat pasture. Whoever is running this course is running it into the ground. Greens are like putting on carpet with holes in it and the tee boxes and fairways have weeds growing all over the place. Much better courses in the Chicagoland area that you can spend your money at. Stay away from this place, its a joke.

Enjoyed playing Bolingbrook for the 1st time. Walking was close to 8 mi so would not recommend. Course was in great condition with no wind. Course was a very good challenge but expected faster greens at 7am. .

Excellent layout and well manicured! This is a long course and challenging. I wouldn’t recommend walking even though we did. Water, bunkers, & sand seem harmless until play begins. Placement is everything on this course.

I don’t know where to start because everything about Bolingbrook GC is perfect. The clubhouse is gorgeous, the pro shop has everything and the staff is amazing. Bob, the starter, is so nice. He gave us Crystal Light, which we enjoyed and a few tips about the course. Bolingbrook is a prairie style course with all the features you’d expect and more. There is water, plenty of sand, ravines and the most beautiful native prairie grasses I’ve ever seen. The greens are large and generally in a bowl or elevated so club selection is critical but the carts are equipped with onboard GPS. Everything is manicured and I’m not kidding, we didn’t even see bugs there!. We did see several herons and other waterfowl. Bolingbrook is a Championship Course so expect collection areas around the well protected greens. Expect forced carries and expect to lose a ball or two. ... Maybe that’s just me;). It’s a must play.

Wish Bolingbrook GC/GolfNow would have informed us that they aerated the greens that Tues before I made reservations on Thurs. It was definitely mid-fall course conditions. Cart paths only and newly aerated greens.

If not for the windy condition it would have been a perfect day to enjoy this challenging but beautiful golf course. The course was not busy so we played our pace without the pressure of a group waiting behind us. There were six of us and I played with a friend behind the foursome of friends and the couple that was supposed to play with us started earlier which made our day even better. A foursome caught up with us as we were finishing the front nine and seemed they only played 9 holes as we never saw them again playing the back 9. Staff were all very friendly .
