TPC Harding Park - Harding Course

Spectacular place. The greens were recently punched, so that took away from the experience. It also allowed me to get a tee time so it was a wash. Great history here.

First time playing this course and it was great. Only negative is that greens were punched a week ago. The same is true for every course in the area. The rough was challenging but doable. Great layout with an abundance of cypress trees.

For that kind of money the pace of play needs addressed.

Last 2 rounds I played no sign of a Marshall.

Think the signs are not good for future of Harding park in relation to the client experience.

Wednesday 01/31/24 the golf course shut down at 9:00 am, plz give me my money back!!!

Tee boxes are disgusting right now. For all the money you pay youd think they put a little effort into fixing one of the most important parts of the courses condition. I’d expect garbage tee boxes from a mini course but not the titan that held the prior majors. Time to restore this paragon of excellence.

Wet and windy day so we took a cart. Cart path only so it didn’t help much. Greens slow and not in great condition. Best public in SF, but $190 is a lot, unless you have never played it, because you should play it.

Fairways and bunkers in good condition

Great finishing holes, greens are in bad shape. Full of ballmarks, and slow. I mean SLOW. Slower than a lot of fairways at other courses. I play here once a year because that’s about how long it takes me to forget how overrated it is and build up false hope that the conditions will be better than last time. Worth playing once just to check it off a list but there are much better courses. Not sure how TPC allows their name to be attached to this course

I feel deceived and ripped off. I called the pro shop the day before I played which was when I booked, to check if any course renovations had occurred, and was told, no, they were done in August, so I booked, when I arrived the greens were slow and had clearly had some work done to them, in addition, because of the work, they scuffed incredibly badly, too badly to be able to repair all of the marks. Then as I was teeing off on the first, you could see the course staff punching the fairways. I would not have booked had the pro shop staff been honest, as the course isn’t worth what they charge, even in pristine condition, and the way it was presented, it wasn’t even worth half the fee.
