I've seen deers, rabbits and skunks on the fairway but not a fox....and this close! That's the fun part of playing golf, you don't know who will show up! Photo submitted by junbelara on 07/09/2013

Not bad at all!
So start with the positives. It's a great course. We had an amazing day Some amazing views over the bay of San Fransisco and seeing planes coming into land was something different too. For the most part the course was in great condition with the exception of some of the tee boxes and bunkers. The greens were in fabulous condition the rolled so true and were very quick. The course layout was challenging too especially with the wind conditions that we had which was extreme. Honestly I felt like I was back in Ireland playing on a links course it really had that feel to it which added to my good vibes.
The not so great points, pace of play. We didn't clock it but we were scheduled to go out with a single golfer in a 3some. We arrived before our time and the single had gone out infront of us. This to us didn't make a lot of sense as he was running into traffic. So there was a fourball, then him, then us. It would have been better if the marshall would have said no wait for your tee time. Like I said we were early and he had gone just in front of us. What made it strange too was at the fourth hole a random player decided to skip us and join up with him. Which is OK but he wasn't playing to a high level and eventually the single abandoned the stranger and skipped ahead of the 4ball leaving this guy by himself and in between us and the 4ball. We eventually joined up with him and he as a really nice guy but like some of the other reviews said there was no one controlling anything. I think if we had a four ball then maybe it would have kept us in the correct position but as a 2 you do feel the slow place.
The tee boxes too were and issue. Some were slanted and some were undulating finding flat ground to play from was a challenge at times. The bunkers didn't bother me too much but also I could understand if someone took exception to them. The were thin and a bit stoney.
Overall I would recommend going here. We paid with a hot deal discount something like 30 dollars each and its a lot of golf for your 30 dollars. It had the length with the longest tees measuring 7k yards and with the wind it's a real handful. The amazing views And like I said earlier rolling on a high quality green is always a bonus. Honestly I really really enjoyed my day there. They have great facilities and 2 tiered driving range and I was offered golf balls to warm up with. The staff were very friendly and the shop was well equipped. There was also a restaurant there but we didn't check it out. Definitely give it a go.
Discount Golf at its Finest
Saw a hot deal for $21.99. I had a monthly $10 off code expiring the next day so secured a rate of $12 for green fee with cart.
Had a 1245pm tee time. It rained pretty good the day prior. Luckily, I got there early and since no one was teeing off, they let me go out at noon. Great, since I had to leave around 315pm to pick up kids from school.
It was super windy so another reason why no one was out there. Surprisingly, the fairways weren't soaked and no puddles. The greens were lightly sanded.
I finished the front in 1 hour.
I did skip #12 (Par 5) since there was a 4some on the tee and a 4some in the fairway. Skipped 14 since there was a 2some on the tee.
Finished 16 holes in 2 hours.
For the price, the course conditions and time spent, it was awesome. The wind being about 15-20mph was the only negative.
Greens
The greens were emaculant ... My hat off to the greenskeeper ..
much to my suprise
have not played here in 15 years. Decided to go because I had points built up and a 10.00 off monthly tee time credit. I paid $1.00 to play there YES $1.00!!! MUCH TO MY SUPRISE It was in great shape and the greens were rolling awesome !! Had a great time even though it was wet and drizzly, will be going back for sure
