Still Struggling
The course is still struggling to become what it once was. The overall condition of the course shows signs of trying to improve but...... Increasing the green fees is not warranted unless trying to catch snowbirds that don't know about other courses in the area.
Nice clubhouse
Course condition was disappointing. Service in clubhouse restaurant was excellent
Wonderful Course
Greens were excellent - large, fast, undulating and held approach shots well. Lots of professional style bunkers with high lips and good sand - not too hard or fluffy. Water hazards are strategically placed - not just off to the side like some courses. Fairways were only average with typical Florida thin grass. This is a truly professional layout and I will definitely return.
Adequate
One person manning the registration. He would stop waiting on customers to answer the phone. Poor pro shop. Felt like you were a hindrance to their day. Course has a good layout with fast fair greens. Play on the course was good!
Easy to access in the city of Palm Coast
Conditions of the course were quite poor. Course does not seem to drain well. Carts were 90 degrees because a lot of the area were very wet.
Greens were not great.
Overall not a course that is well maintained.
Fun round of golf
This is a decent course with some interesting holes. The fairways are a little rough in places, but nothing that is disturbing. The greens are good, and the bunkers are plentiful and in good condition. I had the good fortune of playing with a local, Bob, and he showed me the trouble spots, etc. Pace of play was OK, 4 hours for the round. I'm only in the area for a week, and this was my first round in several months. I will play another course this week, but Pine Lakes was a fun first round.
great course for inter and low handicapers
this course is a must to be played
a excelent golf complex
Good Value
Course condition is average but considering it's age not bad. As the economy slipped so did several golf courses. Could use an overall makeover but still a good value for guys day out.
it was ok
Some greens and some fairways could have been better. But the biggest problem pace of play and respect for the courses. Pace was ridiculously slow, for now reason, and the group in front of us would take the carts just off the greens, maybe a foot off, so they did not have to walk.
Pine Lakes Course
I play here a bunch.
New owner recently took over. Haven't liked the course as much since that happened. Noticing some dry spots. You can hit the ball in the middle of the fairway, or close to the greens, and he sitting on dirt.
Also, bring your own water. For some reason there is no longer any available drinking water on the course. The stations are there, but they no longer put water in them.
This course needs to be re-invested
It is quite evident that they operate with the minimum resources.
Still worth to be played
Enjoyable Experience
The course was in great condition for this time of the year. Greens rolled good with speed. Course was very playable and several challenging holes.
Reasonable challenges
Fairways were poor, greens fair and sand traps excellent. Overall, a rating of 4 out of 10.
Like Pine Lakes
Play it often Fall & Spring, snow birds. From White T's 6311 yds. some really challenging holes and quick greens. Water & traps can come into play often. We play shoulder seasons so course is transitioning. But overall nice track, good value.

Slow is an understatement
Very poorly managed course. Pace of play was beyond frustrating. Took almost an hour to play hole #7 alone. Pro shop offered no apologies, just an oh well. Will not be returning here ever.
Long and tough for Intermediate Player
Fairways are quite open and in very good condition. Greens were quite slow but in great shape. There are a lot of long par 4 holes and many traps. Overall a very challenging course for Intermediate players. Nice bar, reasonable prices and free appetizers from 4-7. Unfortunately there was no balcony or patio for those who like to sit outdoors.
This course was preparing for over seeding
Nice layout design by Palmer. Over seeding was going on so the course was in transition.
Challenging course with interesting holes.
Course is challenging with interesting hole configurations and hole locations. Water comes into play on numerous holes and challenges strategy to carry or lay up. Bunkers come into play a lot. Course just seemed like the conditions could be improved, however, we enjoyed our round.
Great Palmer Course
Nice design. Challenging but fair, greens fast, traps week placed, nice layout,
