Championship at Hollybrook Golf & Tennis Club

Will play here numerous times this summer as the course gets minimal play during the week and it is maintained excellently with great amenities.

Nice course good pace and nice staff

The fairways were great and about 75% of the green were great as well. the rest were under some level of repair. Not a lot of water and the holes are close together for an easy walk if your so inclined.

Overall I would play there again anytime.

I was pleasantly surprised with this course since it was so inexpensive. It is actually a private course which opens to public once in a while as I was told. Good value for money.

It was a nice find. Nice layout.

Course was great. Group in front was slow but ranger was all over it. Never seen a ranger actually work. Overall, just as I remember from last summer. Hopefully golf now can figure out how to keep this course available year around.

This would be by far the worst staff on a course I have ever seen. Not only rude and unfriendly to my group but other patrons as well.

Lots of demanding commands without a simple please to name a few of the issues!

No Food or cold beverages available either within premises.

I played Saturday 10/18/15 at Hollybrook Golf and Contry Club in Pembrooke Pines, Fl. It was not the first time played there. It's always in top condition and the staff is great. This is one of my favorite courses. It's very challenging because of the elevated greens. The only course, that I know of that the bathrooms on the course are air condition. The fairways are fairly wide. The traps have good sand ( not rocky). I guess, that the only picky thing that I can think of for this course is, that they have no covers for the cups. That's how good this course is. This is a secret course that not to many people know about. By the way. We were practically alone on the course . Three hour play for eighteen holes. I've played this course before and I loved it, this time it wasn't in the same condition, greens were beat up and the course not in the same shape overall, We had some really bad players in front of us which didn't help at all.

Had 1:45 tee-time on a Friday afternoon. Course layout is okay, however they had the sprinklers on as we were playing the course. Due to the sprinklers, several holes were soaked and even had puddles. Spoke with the pro-shop as we started and their response was that they couldnt do anything about it. Spoke with maintenance personnel and got same response. Dont plan on going back.

Greens were not as nice as I expected but were true.

Other than some really slow play.....nearing a 5 hour round which is not acceptable.....course was in decent shape given recent rains. Some of the greens were not good considering aeration was over a month ago...most were ok.

Had a great time playing this course , very good condition with a creative but challenging layout .we played in the middle of a very Rainey week course remained playable and pace was outstanding.will play again next time in south Florida .

Loved playing here. Second time not my last. What a well kept secret. For 13 years I was told it was a private course and couldn't play. It's my new favorite course.

I got paired up with a couple of members and that made for a great experience. It's a fun course with plenty of challenges. It's closed to non-members starting in October through their golf season so be mindful when making plans to play here. Also there's no food and beverage service other than vending machines.
I would give it a 5 for conditions but the greens had been recently aerated. Price was adjusted for that factor which was nice.

Paired with beginners who were slow, constantly talking, clueless. Made the round one of our worst.

This course is in great shape. I had played here about 3 months ago and they were doing some work. On the day I played (8/5/15), the greens were great, and putts rolled true. Fairways, tee boxes and sand traps are all in excellent condition.

I thought the course was excellent ...
I didn't realize I was on Hollywood, fl.
It felt like a different place based on the layout....
Only down side was that we had to go elsewhere to eat since the restaurant was not open...
Bummer ...
Hope this problem can be addressed in the future...

Course is in pristine condition!! First time playing here and glad I did. Got the golf now rate but would have paid more after seeing how nice this course is. Not a tough course but some challenging holes. Make sure you play here at least once.

First time player, I was plesantly surprised with the course and the way is mantained. The greens are in great shape as wells as the fairways... Great condition overall.
My only suggestion would be to either have vending machines that accept credit cards or to have an ATM... in todays world cash is use less and less... I could not have a bite to eat or something else beside water all morning...
