Flamingo Lakes Country Club
About
Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Good
I did not know that only the last 9 holes were enabled. So we had to play twice to complete all 18
Grass is too long
The course design is okay. Seems well maintained, but if you hit it into any sort of rough, it's very hard to find the ball. So much time is spent trying to find the ball cause the grass is so long. Right now the front nine is closed so had to play back nine twice. No driving range. Overall it was an okay course that's not amazing or bad.
It is a very nice course with a beautiful layout. It's not easy nor hard course to play on
Wet
When we got to the course they told us that we were playing the back 9 twice. When we booked it we didn’t know that. The course was completely wet. It wasn’t worth $40 to play.
currently only 9holes available - June 2021
Be aware currently only 9holes available - June 2021.
Course in fair conditions
Excellent staff and good play
Was a nice environment course under construction but tall things considered it was a good play staff was great and so was the food would give them my recommendation definitely
Front 9 Closed. Close The Entire Course
I know that this has been a constant refrain but golfers should be alerted on GolfNow to closures, aerification and other course alterations. What appears to be a deal on GolfNow is not a deal when you consider less than ideal course conditions. We were charged an exorbitant price for separate carts (there was no shortage of carts because the playership is way down). Alert your potential customers to what the golf employee told me: the full course will probably not reopen until August 1st. I actually like this course but this is the worse shape that I have ever seen it in. Buyer beware.
Cheated out of a proper 18 holes course
Nowhere does it say, you’ll have to play the back nine. I signed up for 18 holes and this is not ok.
It was a waste of time and I left after 9 holes.
Disappointed
Friendly staff.
Great little course for beginners and mid level players
I have been playing here for a number of years. The course is generally well kept. If you are expecting Augusta South, this isn’t for you. But if you want a nice course that’s rarely packed, then this is for you.
Back nine only
The front nine was under construction
So played the back nine twice
Had a good time
