Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

COVID confused
The staff is way over the top with this COVID... pro shop closed have to pay thru a small window which no body tells you it’s around the back side.
Starter never left his chair... rude doesn’t explain himself at all. Yelled at my wife because she was moving a cone to take the cart toward our golf bags out front.
Small greens,ran true some water marked pretty good.
Need to improve the pace
The course is fine if you play back tee (app. 5800 yards). However, they overbooked the course and we had to wait each hole about 10-15 mn. After 4h30 mn we quit a bit frustrated.
I played that course twice but now the pace was horrible. Will surely retry but if I don’t see improvement I will let the management do their work on this.
Course Condition
Course is in great condition. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are well kept. Recommend playing.. the only knock is the SLOW pace of play before 2pm on weekends. Experienced 2 groups waiting on each hole. The starter could have spaced the groups out better.

The course has narrow fairways but in good condition. Greens were true! Challenging and would highly recommend this course. Keep it straight!
