Always a PLEASURE
I've been playing Riverwood since it had empty lots around most of the course. It has been and still remains in the top 3 courses in my book. They still use gasoline carts, so it may not be for the Tesla crowd....and the carts are not the quickest....but on a course so beautiful, who wants to hurry, huh?
Never a disappointment!
Great layout with Tee markers at varying challenges for any golfer.
The staff are very hospitable and that goes for all the employees inside and around the course.
It's really a very friendly course that is always inviting.
I'll be back...
A hot day on a really nice course
We played an afternoon round at Riverwood and besides the heat (and the greens were just punched about 2 weeks ago), the course is in really nice shape. It's a challenging course from the back tees but very fair to the ladies. My drive from the Blue tees was often only about 100 yards past the ladies tee so my wife really enjoyed her chance to out drive me!
Greens were just aerated not fair to rate the course

One of the areas best
Had a great time until the weather storm hit got 11 holes in before lightning came through.. Was the course in good shape? It’s Riverwood, need to say more… Always a great place to play Kudos to the staff and course superintendent
Hot Deal
Grabbed the 1:00 Hot Deal with my buddy, had the course to ourselves. Seen absolutely no one. Played in a little over 3 hours. Love this course, my favorite in the area.
Very good course
Good course, but greens still showed aeriation, which is understood this time of year
Didn’t meet expectations
Course advertised as rated tops in Fl and best in SW Fl. Did not live up to this as just an average course and far from best in area let alone state of Fl. Had just been aerated so greens were rough and putts did not roll true. Was not advertised as recently aerated as that should have resulted in a discount rate from the $65. Course was not worth that price in its condition.
Wet but well maintained
Course was a bit wet in some spots, and you could tell grass wasn't able to be cut in some area due to it. But overall course was in great shape even after a recent aeration.
