Excellent, challenging course surrounded by natural beauty

This course was too hard for me, but I did manage to par two holes. This is Showbird 's wife speaking.

The course is in excellent winter condition and it's beautiful. The greens were a bit slow, but the second fastest we have played in SW FL in winter this year. Typical, as good greens are left a little shaggy in the dry season so they don't burn out. They were consistent and very green. The rough was tough but fair.

The sand was very nice. We played a late twightlight rate and got 11 holes in just over 2 hours, before the carts had to be returned. Yes, carts are slow, nosiy and gas powered. Not worth ranting about, though.

Great Conditions & Friendly Staff

Course was in great condition. Greens rolling true and fairly quick. Started was super friendly and so was the beverage cart girl (only staff we interacted with). First off the front so played very quick until hole 10 - pulled up with 2 groups of 4 ahead of us, and after we got spread back out again it went quick (3.5 hour round). Overall excellent experience!

Great Course

This is one of the best courses I have played in Florida. Didn’t score well not due to course, from White T slope 131 so not easy but everything about it is first class. Will go back and hope I bring my A game,didn’t have any game that day,golf ball company happy. If your anywhere in the area must play course,we traveled 40 miles and will do again......

One of the best tracks in south florida

I am a 7 handicap. I played Streamsong Red two weeks ago, and honestly I think Riverwood’s tee boxes, fairways, and general turf conditions were better than Streamsong. The greens were also fast (not too fast), receptive to approach shots and rolled true. This place is a gem, best in the area for sure and the price was very reasonable I thought. I’ve played courses down in the Naples area in Jan/Feb that were not nearly as nice and cost 50-70% more then what you pay at Riverwood. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area.
