I'm a 6 handicap and shot 78. I paid $71 after taxes on a GolfNow hot deal.

Tee boxes:8.5/10

Very solid. No complaints. Could maybe be a 9.

Fairways: 9.3/10

Superb condition. Almost zero bare spots. They were not dried out and could take proper divots. Very lush.

Greens(bent):7.6/10

Very slow. With how little rain we have had it seems they have over watered them. It's a fine line and they crossed it. Theywere too soft but with the bent and it being 95 all day it's tough for them to maintain. I'm very picky on greens so take this rating with a grain of salt.

Bunkers:6.8/10

Very rocky. Had liner coming up on a lot of them. But deep thick sand which I like.

Rough: 9/10

The rough was in superb condition. Around the greens and fairway was all really nice. It's super thick as well and helps with keep the course challenging.

Pace of play 10/10

Played in 4 hours. Could have played faster.

Value:10/10

For $71 bucks what a deal. Would have paid $110 and not been upset.

Overall: 8.8/10

This is a great course to bomb it around with driver. Had some great risk reward par 5s with your second shot 210-240 in over water that are drivable in 2. I drive it around 265-275 on AVG. Has some tough par 3s to small greens. The par 4s are a great mix of 300-330 and then 400-440 from the Blue tees. 6408 yards.

Second time playing Achasta. Challenging, fun layout and design. Greens are in great condition. Rolls fast and true. Beautiful location. Fairways in excellent shape. Will definitely be back.

Played Achasta 7/5/24 on a hot, sunny and muggy day. Pace of play was great as our foursome finished in exactly four hours. Course is in great shape but beware of the rough. It is much thicker and longer than most courses in North Atlanta. Will play again.

The layout and track of this course is tremendous. The scenery was very picturesque and loved all of the bridges that were over the water. Had a fantastic time playing and look very forward to coming back again at some point in the future.

It was fine in most ways. Sand bunkers needed maintenance. Greens had recently been plugged.

Fairways are good. Staff was friendlier than when I was there years ago.

The practice facility is very good.

Please let the carts in the parking lot for loading/unloading.

The views are pretty.

There are about 3 holes that are weird.

The players I was joined with were 3 very enjoyable people.

Ice machine’s that’s all that needs to be said. They have 2 ice & water dispensing stations. And the is GREAT also. Greens fast but friendly.

We enjoyed the round of golf such a great condition overall. I will definitely come back to play again Achesta Golf Course soon.

My wife and I played Achasta for the third time and really like this good golf course and their good amenities.

The course was in great condition.

The pace of play was a little slow due to some other courses in the area were closed due to a tournament.

Definitely recommend Achasta.

The course was in awful shape for over $100 per person. Not worth it at all. Pace of play was horrendous

Course is beautiful. Fun layout and design. In the valley so the view is great. Conditions were near perfect. Greens and fairways in excellent condition.

Staff is friendly. Will definitely play again.

Greens are great, some traps are bare down to the weed material, trees boxes a little bare as are several fairways but overall it's a solid course and pace was very good, just over 4 hours.

Great layout and fun course to play. Have been playing here for more than 20 years….conditions were as expected for late April, but this place used to be pristine. Staff was super friendly, good practice area/range. Due to years of trees going there is a lot of shade on tee boxes…some tee boxes were pure dirt. Course just looks “tired”….but it could have been the time of year. Will be back sometime in June and hopefully everything looks better.
