First tee.
If you are a beginner golfer I would recommend this course for you. A lot of leverage to help you get your golf ball get to the pin. The hills help carry your ball but you better hit the ball straight to make par! Great course!
Not good but ok
Course layout is good but condition is not good, green has many damages, staff is unfriendly. Overall is ok but not recommended for 18 holes.
Excellent greens for winter time
Woah! 9 hole course well design for a beginner and thanks to the staff who make your experience fun and enjoyable. Love the environment and atmosphere! This is my course to play in Atlanta!
Golfnow Special
Great customer service
Alaygra greeted us with a smile and thanked us for our business
Fairways in great shape and rough not too high
A couple of the greens are stressed from the heat but the others rolled good
Good track to walk and work on your swing
GREENS Are getting Bad again!!
if You can Play for $15 or Less with CART it's Worth it. Greens Use 2b GREAT & i don't know what the issue is. There's almost Always Some1 watering the Greens. They get 1st Tee $$ & Yeah they tend 2 act Funny Towards GOLF Now Reservationist!
Awesome layout to play 9 holes.
This is a well designed course, and you are able to use all your clubs on this beautiful 9 holes course.
Bad start
The start was a cluster fuc. The starter was not by the first tee, so there was no direction as to who was up next. It was 9 am Saturday so lot of people started showing up. One single player jumped in front of all of us and was going to walk solo until another group of two decided to join him. With no Marshall around, we just let it happen so we were 15 minutes late teeing off. Once we teed off there were no more issues
Good bang for your buck
I’d be lying if I said the tee boxes and greens were well manicured. I’d also be lying if I said the staff were friendly and accommodating. Would I ever play this course without the $9 hot deal? Absolutely not. But with that deal it’s too good to pass up. $9 for an executive course, cart included?!? It’s a great course for when you’re looking for an excuse to play and able to grab that $1/hole hot deal.
Not as easy as it looks
This course has its challenges. Hole 1,4,7,9. It is not as easy as it looks. Great value. I play it at least once a week.
Not friendly
Went to play a round of golf by myself at 11am and I went thought golf now to book my tee time. When i arrived i was ready to go, but the lady behind the counter made me wait for someone else, because they don't have a enough golf carts to let singles go out, and she told me she didn't like the fact that i used Golf now to book my tee time. So i waited 15 minutes for this person who never showed up and the lady wouldn't let me go. So i decided to walk the coruse instead. After a few holes I noticed that there was 3 singles playing and each of them had their own carts. Ill never be playing here again. The greens are terrible and this course isn't kept up. The lady told me that they wont be renewing their lease with golf now and they are going to be charging $25 a round hahaha this course isn't worth it. Save your money.
Ok value for the price. Tee boxes were in very bad shape. Greens were recovering from aeration. Fairways were in good condition. Staff was very friendly.
Great 9, a gem, easy on the wallet
We visited from CO for a volleyball tourney and had a few hours to spare. We found this course on Golfnow and online. The phones were down, so we had to go on reviews and First Tee of Atlanta vibe. My, this course exceeded our expectations! This is a gem, a diamond in the rough.
The staff welcomed us nicely. We didn't bring clubs, so we had to rent, they had probably 5-6 sets to choose from. The $12 walking rate made it work. The scorecard didn't reveal too much - 2 5s, 4 4s, & 3 3s all of reasonable distances, so we just let the course show is its design. The layout unfolds into a delightful journey up and down hills with well placed trees, slopes, bunkers, OB fences, foliage, and water to engage you. Subtle beauty is here for you to see, if you look beyond a golf score. Wiser players may not pull driver out every time. The greens had engaging rolls to keep you on your toes. There are a few imperfections here and there, but they didn't detract from our round. After 9, I wished we had enough time for a second or third lap!
If you're looking for a pristine, country club experience, search elsewhere. If you want a delightful, engaging, budget friendly round or two and can embrace the mission here, come and enjoy! Also, I wish this were closer to home. I would bring more things to donate to their cause to help grow our game. Bravo to those who work & volunteer here!
Oh yeah, a nearby Big Daddy's was a great after golf recommendation for some good soul food. Thanks for the suggestion, sir!
