Excellent for the price
My buddy and I decided last minute to play on Friday.
Course is in great condition considering the amount of rain from the hurricane earlier this week. Had a 3:30 tee time. Only saw one other golfer the whole time. Finished in 3 hrs. Definitely worth the $33. Greens were a little slow. That would be my only complaint if I had to give one.
Excellent layout, excellent condition, Excellent experience
This was my second time playing this course. Nothing but great things to say about my experience. A nice mixture of par 3/4/5 holes. Challenging but fair collection of par 3s.
Bumpy greens.
Fates fairways in great shape. Greens are good but a little bumpy and slow. Overall a great course!
Just don’t slice
Fast well-manicured greens with long hilly groomed fairways. Not much sand or fairway bunkers, but if you miss the fairway, forget about playing or finding it. While houses abound, they’re reasonably set back.
MZBC
One of the better courses we’ve played this year, our foursome has played 18 different ones. Tee boxes, fairways & greens all in great shape. Individual in pro shop personable. Played in 4 hours.
Very hot day so with no water on course because of Covid-19 issues, bring plenty of fluids to keep hydrated. There was a cart girl w/refreshments. Got a good website deal, so value for money rated high. Would not pay posted rate, just too much $.
Solid course, slow greens
Course is difficult, with good fairways and rough. Tee boxes have long grass, bunkers are horrible, and greens are almost always slow and bumpy with ball marks covering them, especially on the shorter holes. It’s still a good challenge though, and a solid layout if you ignore #4 (very stupid par 5).
Average, lots of oriental rude players
Played 18 holes in 6 hours due to groups in front.. nobody cares!
