Wonderful change
I played on this property years ago when it was just Forest Lakes...this "reboot" is amazing. The front nine is quite challenging, and offers the temptation for taking some major chances, while the back nine can certainly make your score card even out a bit! The grounds are immaculately kept, and most of the greens are quite challenging. To say that this is a REAL value is an understatement. I'll come back again and again....FUN course! Also, don't forget to take advantage of a very unique and fun practice area....aquatic range, sand-pitching area, and putting green...it's quite a wonderful facility!!

Great course here at the Palms
My friend and I just moved into town and heard that this was a great course and even more exciting because of the amount of par 3's. The greens were fairly quick and rolling quite well. This factor mixed with the postage stamp size that they were made it for a challenging yet exhilarating day. The staff was incredibly friendly and Kevin really made our experience a great one. I highly recommend this course.
Best bang for your buck
Very enjoyable course, the front 9 is challenging and the back nine is mostly par 3s all in all a great experience
Great overall course
This course was very fun and unique! I've played many rounds of golf at many different courses, and none are anything like this course. The course is challenging but not too difficult for the average golfer. The greens rolled true and beautifully. The staff made me feel like my home course and everybody greeted me with a smile. The range is a water range which adds a fun touch to the golf course. I would highly recommend anybody to go play this golf course!
Short course
Very narrow par 4's on the front nine. All par 3's on the back nine. Greens were in good shape but slow. Good quick course. Staff was friendly.
Great Practice Set-Up
Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Very nice, quiet, practice set-up. Aqua driving range with a beautiful green next to it for chipping/putting. All staff very friendly & helpful.

Palms
This course was a bit challenging for the first time. Very narrow fairways with plenty of homes close by. The greens were immaculate, but finding a good lie in other parts of the course was a challenge. There were many ponds on the course and none held nice looking water. The course is new, so my next time should be better. The course is a little short on shade, too, which made it tough on a hot day.

Nicely Done Renovation
Was a very nice day and really enjoyed playing the NEW Forest Lakes. The driving range was really well done - with the target greens holding a full shot...best aqua range I've ever seen. Good high quality turf everywhere on the course...and I liked that the driver rolled out...up near a few of the par 4 greens even! Greens rolled quick and true - fun course.. we'll be back to play it again.
New course
Course is very new. Still has some work to be done... Ground a little hard so watch out for that. Kind of dangerous that you have to cross a 4 lane street twice. But still good value for what you pay. Mostly par 3s with some 4s and 1 5. So good to work on short game.
Not a good course at all. Greens are hard and dry, fairways are in terrible shape, not 1 porto potty shed, I saw no ball cleaners at all, only 2 water jugs on the entire course and both of those had no paper cups, way too many par 3's. It would of been nice to hit my driver more than 5-6 times during the entire 18 holes! I would use this course only as a last resort.
