Really liked the course and staff. Would have been nice to have a marshal to get the group in front of us to catch up . Will be back to play again!

Had not been to Wood's Valley in a few years so thought we'd give it another try. What we found is that like a lot of other courses in the area, water is an issue as evidenced by fairway grass that appears to be very thirsty along with hard/tight lies and a few bare spots.

A winter as dry as this one has been and the cost of water makes it very tough on operators of many local courses. Of a more positive note, the greens are good to excellent as are the tee boxes, and the staff is excellent, so we'll be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by my first trip to this course. It's a bit narrow for a fair amount of the holes. Pace of play was great. Greens roll true. A great layout and good strategy. I would definitely play here again.

Ifyour are booking through Golfnow, I would recommend calling first to make sure there is no tournament scheduled for that day. I was put in the middle of a shot-gun tournament and every hole had 2 groups waiting on the teebox. Ridiculous. I am also a paying customer.

On the otherhand, the course is in great condition thanks to JC. And as always, the layout is challenging but fun and will require you to use every club in your bag. I just had to vent about the painful 6-hour round I just endured.

good mix of hole design. course doesn't get stagnant and pace of play was good. greens were very slow but at least consistent and not too difficult

My buddy and I played there on a Wednesday. We teed off a little before 3p and finished just under four hours. The course was in great shape. One of thre great things about this course is that there’s no houses or roads crowding it. You feel like you’re kind of out there with just your group. Saw some wildlife as the day got later. I’d highly recommend this course if you live in the area or if you wanna play a really nice course that’s in great shape for a low price.

Beautiful setting, back 9 is very unique.l, great greens. I will play it again and again!

Always loved this course. Great conditions, rarely wait ( I played solo and even though I had a foursome in front of me, I still finished in 4 1/2 ) to hit shots, the staff is always glad to see you. Highly recommend.

The staff was the rudest and most disrespectful im ever dealt with. On a Saturday afternoon they had the nerve to turn all the sprinklers on at 5 PM and then had the nerve to tell me I should've booked a sooner tee time. Meanwhile while they let the course get backed up because They don't know how to manage a golf course... it's about a mile away from my buddy's house but I won't be golfing there until they make some major changes in there staff

3 hours and 45 minutes for nine holes, pretty much says it all. No field rangers, no services, filthy toilets.

The out houses had not been replaced in months.

Fairways a bit hard so good rollout in drives but watering is an issue in So Cal.

I played here for the first time and was pleasantly taken with the course. Challenging, in good shape with a friendly staff all at a reasonable price.

The fairways, greens and bunkers were in good shape.

The cart was in good shape and I enjoyed having a club washer and ball washer on the cart. Also there was a small cooler (complete with ice no less).

The folks I talked to in the pro shop were friendly and helpful.

All in all an enjoyable course.

Weather was perfect, course was in good condition. Had a blast. Played late for us, (1:10 p.m.) but still got the round in before the sun set. Always like this layout, one of my favorites, worth the drive.
