greens were just punched but were still fairly quick and rolled true. fairways were in great shape. for $25 it is a great value

The greens had been sanded so they played as expected.

the course was golfer friendly ... fairways maintained .. and the greens were located in the most treasured part of the hole .. greens were deep green and easy to find after u were able to shoot .. whole course is wrapped in nature like you playing in a park lost in time

Been playing a little less than 2 months and been to around 7 different golf courses and would rank this as the second most challenging I've been to behind Salt Creek. Course is very well maintained and can't complain about anything but my game play really. Would definitely try the course again and at $30.00 with cart it's a steal at that price.

Played Woods Valley Golf Club on Friday May 24, 2013 after reading a few decent reviews.... the course overall was in very good condition! Most of the tee boxes, fairways, greens were in above average condition! Above average meaning I've played this course when it was not in good condition. There was good grass on the tee boxes & most of the fairways. The greens were in good condition but fairly beat up from golfers not repairing their divots! Was only in the sand once (hole 18) & was in very good condition!

Great condition...challenging course especially the back nine. beautiful day!

This course is a great value! A little warm in the summer but overall it's fantastic.

This was my first time playing this course. The course was in excellent condition. The course was challenging and the layout was great. The course had character. I really enjoyed it.

Played at 5:15 AM and course was in good condition. Tee boxes were great, fairways in good condition, and greens were great.

We took the 25 minute drive out to WV yesterday and had a phenomenal time... The course is in very, very good condition right now - especially given the dryness out there. The greens were simply immaculate; receptive, fast, and true...

I cannot say enough about the staff there. Incredibly friendly, accommodating (we were running a few minutes behind), and went the extra mile to ensure we had a good round. I want to specifically give recognition to James in the golf shop - he took great care of us when we decided to play another 9 holes.

All in all, well worth the drive out to Valley Center. **Don't forget to stop @ Fat Ivor's (down the road) on your way out - phenomenal BBQ!!

Course was in excellent shape and uncrowded (maybe because of Mother's Day).

The course was in good condition. Very challenging from the back tees. The starter was very rude to our group.

Started in the rain but that only lasted for two holes. We were the first group out at 8:30am due to conditions and played like it was our private club.

Fairways were lush and greens were receptive.

Not exactly close but worth the drive.

The guy in the pro-shop was friendly. Cart was in good shape. Fairways are, for the most part, nice. The greens were pretty consistant. The traps were very good, plenty of sand. The back nine is very scenic, real pleasant to the eyes.. The day was very enjoyable and I will definately go back.

As approaching rain, even though my deal didn't include a cart, but they offer a cart for me without extra charge. Tiny concern but helped.

This a nice course as you look at it, there were some bald patches on the fairways, greens where very slow, overall a very nice course to play.

New ownership, they now have gas carts, until they buy new ones. The fairways were spotty, the tee boxes need mowing, and the greens are slow with alot of ball marks. Someone wearing soft spikes really drug their feet and spun their heals on the greens and really marked them up, especially near the hole. Easy enough to walk, with a push cart. The back nine is better than the front as far as layout and views. Driving range was good, putting green in small but okay, did not see a chipping area. Saw the cart person once, plenty of water jugs on course.

This course had a great layout, pace of play was great and conditions were good, especially for the price.
