Lake Tahoe Golf Course

In the midst of a horrific fire season that saw huge amounts of ash and smoke invading the Tahoe Basin, golf was a nice departure. Beautiful course and the surrounding mountains were semi-visible which added to the serenity. The greens were dull of goose crap which made the day a little more difficult. All in all it was what I needed.

Front nine was okay, but a six-some was in front of the group in front of us. it took two hours to play four holes on back nine. No marshal and staff did not seem to care. Very disappointed

It's hard to top playing golf looking at the Tahoe mountains.

The hot dog was not good.

Booked a Hot Deal through Golf Now and was well worth it. Within minutes of South Lake, so no need to travel far.. Friendly staff, straightforward front 9, but back 9 was definitely more challenging., requiring course management. Back 9 played a bit slower. Will return

Enjoyable but slow and they don’t push people to play faster

We loved everything about this course and had an amazing time.

Really beautiful scenery surrounding the course. Really enjoyed the course except for the pace of play. People in front of us were very slow and we had two groups waiting and backed up behind them .Although we kindly communicated this to the staff they did nothing to move things along. We waited every hole for quite some time and yet the slow people in front of us had a wide open course in front. It was frustrating and more so that the staff really did not care

I ended up having to play twice because I couldn’t book a single, and had to pay full price for second round.

Love playing here every time I’m in tahoe. Staff is awesome and the course is gorgeous- always coming back every time

Great setting, beautiful views. Course in good shape. Interesting holes, tough back nine. Wish they would supply drinking water on the course.

Wonderful experience. Lost my Volkey wedge, general manager Kevin went out of his way to help me and recover my club. Exceptionally customer service and friendly.

Course is super convenient when visiting South Lake, with an affordable range and good prices for the area. Conditions were great considering it was early in the season. Great layout and beautiful scenery.

Holliday weekend so it was pretty packed but the course was fun and the scenery was beautiful! Played an afternoon tee time and it was perfect weather. Fairways are open and greens are nice. Slower than they look but the cups hadn’t been cut in a few days and you could tell. My only suggestion would to bring some form of gps or range finder because it’s near impossible to tell how far out you are without markers visible in the fairways or on sprinkler heads near your shot.
