Lake Tahoe Golf Course

I been wanting to play here for a while and this course does not disappoint. The course is well maintained and the greens are a tad slower than the putt practice green. The front nine is pretty straight forward setup but the back nine are a lot of doglegs.

Although the tee yardages look long but the course play a little shorter. The course seem tight but the fairway are forgiven and wide. I hardly use my driver

Played because of a great hot deal special, well they suckered me in again. Terrible round at over 5 hours. Course is just not managed well, staff don’t care about service. I won’t be back

I’m not sure if there’s a worse managed golf course in all of northern California, maybe North America I stopped playing here cause of pace of play, thought I would give it a chance 5+ hours not a single Marshall on the course all day. Terrible customer service I would avoid this course at all cost.

Single digit handicapper here... LTGC is easily one of my favorites. We're from the Bay Area and I try to play it everytime we visit Tahoe. LTGC is Not an easy course by any means as it has some of the most challenging 2nd shots around. A very scenic, walkable course. Hope the good folks in control appreciate what a valuable community amenity they have in LTGC !

The course layout is great. I will be back to play again. We enjoyed it.

The pace of play was good, having to wait just a bit at times for the foursome in front. However, I will note it was totally understood as that group had two elderly gentlemen, one easily in his 80's. But he had a nice short game from what we saw. Just needed a little more time to get from his cart to his shot location. We certainly appreciate seeing seniors enjoying themselves out on the course. What other game can you play into your 80's? The course was in good condition. We lucked out with the weather, smokey for the 1st two holes, but the wind from the oncoming storm blew all the smoke away. We were able to complete our 18, with only slight sprinkles on the 18th. It was great to have the storm move into the area. It started to rain lightly as we left the course, which was great as it cleared the sky to typical beautiful Lake Tahoe conditions in a few hours!

The pace of play was a little slow due to a busy day on the course. The Marshall did do her best to keep the pace going. The Pro Staff was great! And the course was in good condition. A thunderstorm caught up with us on hole 16 tee box. It rained pretty hard for the next two holes. But were able to finish #18 with no rain. I would recommend this course, nice layout and great location!

If in the Tahoe area then I recommend you play this course.

The course condition plus the amazing scenery make this a great visit. Where else do you have a coyote wander past you when on the green?

This was my first visit but I will play here again any time I am visiting Tahoe.

The course is in excellent shape, the best that I have in seen in years. Would recommend!

Scored a great deal on Golf Now. Crowded course on a Tuesday afternoon. Near 5 hour round.

Solid option in South Lake Tahoe where there aren’t many good choices. For a mountain course it surprisingly flat with no elevated tee boxes. Greens are fast but fair. Bunkers are inconsistent, some hard some soft. Fairways in great shape.

I’d book it again but not at full price.

Course was in great shape and the views were nice. Loved how flat the course was and how some holes were challenging. One problem I had was my game took more than 5 hours long. I wish there was a Marshall to enforce the pace of play. For 10 holes, we were always stuck with 2 other groups. Turns out, there was a bachelor party going on that got to rowdy and was playing with their shirts off. Nobody cared and the pro shop never addressed it. Not a good impression on how I wanna come back. However I'll give it another chance because of the views and challenges
