About
The Chimneys Golf Course features 18 holes of exceptional golf. Our signature feature is the abundance of native rock found on-site, intricately hand-laid throughout the course to accent our greens, fairways, and pedestal tees. With strict attention to detail and no homes in sight, the course plays as a par 72, just shy of 6500 yards over five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all abilities. Combined with southern, hometown charm, The Chimneys is an experience unlike any public course in north Georgia.

Nice course! But Gentlemen please--repair your ballmarks!
I liked this course. The chimney theme is a nice idea and they've done some great stonework throughout the course. Fairways are in really good shape. The greens are some of the slowest I've encountered and we really had a hard time finding the right speed. My big beef, and this concerns the greens, is the lack of self-maintenance at The Chimneys. That is not a knock on the course, but the people who play it. I can't remember the last time I saw so many unrepaired golfmarks on the greens. Simply ridiculous. My son and I ended up repairing 5 marks to our 1 - usually do that to an extent anyway. It's a lack of respect for the game and the people that play behind you. Like leaving your trash at a campsite. Pack it out! A very frustrating sign of the times. I don't know whether signs asking people to do what they should ordinarily do anyway would be of any help. Other than that, a really nice course.
First Timer
First time I played this course.. For a short track it was fun. The from 9 was brutal but the back was excellent.

Enjoyed playing the course for the first time. Course was in good shape, greens were a little slow but will be back to play again.
Absolutely gorgeous course. Some unrepaired divots but that’s understandable. 100% would be a member in a heartbeat.
Great round!
Course is fun, wide open fairways, decent bunkers. Design is nice but I don’t like the one par 5 and one par 3 on the back set up. Wish they had a cart person on the course on a hot Sunday. No trash cans at every hole was rather strange and they only have one portapotty for restrooms on the entire 18 holes.

I’ve played here many times but today was the best I’ve ever seen this course. Everything was freshly manicured. I wished the greens were little faster. Staff was friendly as always.

Hard to beat the value of this course! This course is always in great shape and plays great for the average golfer!
Nice soft green
The course is in nice shape. Greens look good they are soft and hold the ball. But they are a little slower then other local greens.. I always like playing there even saw a deer on the course today. Nice layout pretty straight forward but need a few long drives . And a couple reachable pat 4s for the long ballers. Go play it

Great course from tee box to green. I love everything about it. The back 9 is very getable if you can keep it straight. Best course in the area and I don’t think it’s close.
Great Shape
The course was in great shape , fairways and greens were well maintained. Bunkers look to have fresh sand, glad to say I didn't get a chance to test it out. Very pleased enjoyed the round and will be back soon
