The Chimneys Golf Course

Found this course in a search of the area. Went to the website and was impressed by it. Searched in GolfNow and found a good deal on a tee time. On my way there, I was delayed by an auto accident so I called to let them know I was going to be slowed down. Not a problem! Got me on right away. Just a beautiful course and in great condition overall! A few of the greens did have a fair number of blemishes from ball marks that went unrepaired. Wish all of the course that I regularly play were this nice!

Had an enjoyable round at The Chimneys today with a Hot Deal. Course is in great shape and greens also. But the greens run a little slower on this course. They run true but a tick slower.

Overall Chimneys is a great course, only bad thing is he greens are getting slow and rough after a long summer.

This is a great course for the money. Beautiful tee shot scenery. Will definitely be going back. Everyone should give this course a try.

Chimneys is always a nice alternative to our home course...but the last 2 trips have been disappointing.

Everything was fine, except the greens were simply too slow. We played it about a month ago and they told us the greens were slow, hadn't been able to cut, etc.

We decided to give them another try last Sunday and they were in much the same condition...it's tough to get used to hitting putts that hard. It takes something away from the round.

Before returning, I think we'll give them some time to figure out the mowing situation over there.

Good day of golf. Unfortunately, after 3 days of rain had to play cart path only with very slow greens. No fault of the course and management.

The course was in excellent condition awesome day.

I love this course has to be my favorite course. The tee boxes are great and I like how some of the tee boxes are tiered. Off the box they make it challenging by giving you a window to hit through. Greens are nice and fairways are ketp up with. Makes for a great game.

The course overall is a pretty decent value. Somewhat challenging course with beautiful fairways, well cut fringe and friendly staff. Only downsides are that the bunkers were in pretty bad shape as well as the greens were sanded down on the back nine so putting became inconsistent. Overall not a bad course for the price and I see it being in better shape in the next week to two.

We enjoyed our round today. I always enjoy playing The Chimneys! Course was in great shape and the weather was perfect. Now, if I could jut get rid of this slice!

This course is manicured and managed almost perfectly. It’s a shame to waste such a great track with greens that are so dang slow. It takes a full swing to get a 15 foot putt to the hole. I hope they can somehow get them rolling better in the future.

We played this course two weeks in a row because we loved it so much but the second week we were paired with a couple of strangers which was awkward and slow. It was a very hot and still day and the slow play made for an exhausting round of golf. We didn't go back for third consecutive week.
