Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachians, Chicopee Woods Golf Course is a 27-hole course that sprawls across rolling terrain. It is one of the most popular public courses in the Gainesville area. The holes are divided into three nines called the Village, the School, and the Mill. They share the same scenic landscape but they each offer a different set of challenges. Five sets of tees provide the option of playing to your skill level. The Mill is the shortest of the three nines. Strategically placed bunkers come into play on almost every hole, you'll find plenty of them on the par-4 seventh. There are back-to-back water features starting with the second hole, the golf course's only water holes. Chicopee Woods GC also has a driving range and chipping and putting greens available.

worth the drive from ANYWHERE

allowed out as a single and somehow NO ONE was in front of me all day. Sun showers stopped play for 15 mins.

Greens still ran beautifully. Good pace. Consistent throughout. Many elevation changes can cause lie issues. 90 degree showed good drainage. Views... layout... and practice facilities are impressive. Chicopee Woods is worth a drive from ANYWHERE. -d

Played a round at Chicopee Woods today and had an awesome time. The course is in great shape—fairways were clean, greens rolled smooth, and the layout always keeps things interesting. Whether you’re just out for fun or playing serious, it’s a solid track.

What really made the day stand out was the beverage cart staff. Honestly, they were phenomenal. Super friendly, great energy, and always around right when you needed a cold drink or a quick chat. They really added a personal touch that made the experience even better.

All in all, Chicopee Woods never disappoints.
