Anderson Creek Golf Club
About
When Anderson Creek Golf Club first opened in 2001 it was immediately recognized as the "Best New Golf Course in North Carolina." The course was designed by 1997 PGA Championship winner Davis Love III, it was his first signature design in North Carolina. It has a traditional layout that epitomizes golf in the Carolina Sandhills. The layout features rolling emerald fairways lined with towering pines and undulating greens bordered by large roll-off areas, a tribute to the classic Donald Ross designs that are prevalent in the Sandhills. The challenging golf course has tricky doglegs and there are a variety of elevation changes throughout. Water comes into play on a few holes at Anderson Creek Golf Club, most memorably though on the par-3 fourth, which demands a carry over a large lake. Strategically placed bunkers also lurk along the greensides.

Tough But Great Course
First time playing this course. I was paired up with two other randoms which was no big deal at all. We all took separate carts, which we thought was fine considering the starter said nothing about it and we didn’t know each other with Covid-19 and everything going around. Plus when you pay on Golf Now, you get your own cart. Had a solid front nine, greens had just been sanded, but rolled great and will be lightning in a few weeks. Had nobody in front of us the whole front nine. We got to the number 10 tee and suddenly had another group in front of us. The head pro pulled up behind us, and was just a peach. Complained immediately that we shouldn’t have our own carts, Pretty sure he let this group start on 10. He must’ve shot 101 for his morning round cause he was super friendly. Not a very good luck for improving business as dead as the course. Nonetheless, great, challenging, and long course.
Awsome course
Impeccable greens, fairways still need to grow in, bunkers are hard, layout is fatastic, bring your A game
Great Day at Anderson Creek
What a great day we had at Anderson Creek! The course layout is challenging, diligent, and inspiring. The scenic beauty that surrounds the course invites many plays of this course, and the excellence of the greens demands it.
Anderson Creek
Nice layout. Ever hole has its own uniqueness. Some long par 4a even from white tees. Course conditions were almost unplayable with the amount of moisture on the course. Very difficult to find a dry lid. Would definitely like to
Okay this course under drier conditions
Nice
It was wet so cart path only for the whole course. Good time but the cafe was closed on Mondays.
Winter golf
Loved the course. Staff was great. Had a 2 hour frost delay and a shotgun start. The course was much dryer than other courses in the area have been this winter. Will definitely come back.
Better than I remembered
Little wet from all the rain. Very playable, greens we're really good, tough greens a lot of undulation. I drove from Pinehurst to play. I'll be back for sure. Only issue was the par 3 tee boxes need some help. Other than that I thought it was a good track.
Nice course and beautiful properties surrounding it
I will play this course again and if I was retiring to the Fayetteville area this neighborhood and course would be high on my list.
Anderson Creek
First time playing the new greens. They were excellent but course was very wet from recent rain
Buyer Beware
ALERT!! Paid $35 green fee on Golf Now, but when arrived at the course found out the regular “winter rate” is only $30 (Jan-Mar)! The lady working the desk explained it after she overheard me talking about the “hot deal” I got from Golf Now. She said that they have contacted GN but, they have yet to change it. We both had a good laugh about it.
