West at Woodlands Country Club

Sweet track. Narrow and punishing when off fairway. Greens are great and receptive, roll about 10 - 11. Fluffy sand in the bunkers. Overall sweet course with rights and lefts. Must be able to work the ball from back: (Black and Blue) Tees.

The Woodlands has some great courses, have played both the East and West courses. Would rate the West course better of the two. The West course is in very nice condition, fairways lush and the greens are in great shape, well worth the fees, will definitely return to play again, the only disappointment would be that the bunkers are in bad shape, they need to have new sand installed, so stay out of them!

I've played the West course numerous times and this most recent round was the most enjoyable. The greens were running real fast and true on most holes with the exception of maybe 3 greens. Challenging tee shots from the tips, if you don't draw the ball you can end up with a significantly longer second shot than you may want. Overall had a great time!

The course was not well marked, got lost a couple of times. No support staff to guide us or tell us where the first hole was. Nice pro shop and friendly attendant.

A good course to play. Greens are great, fairways require a strategically placed drive.

Great track we played West course, pace of play was great for a Sunday morning. I would recommend.

Should have been warned the greens were unfit to play on.

The tee box ,fare ways and greens are all in great shape. The greens are very fast and big. The have a par 5 which is U shaped. We enjoyed it a lot but it is very difficult .

I was shooting blind on some shots. There weren't many markers on most holes. It rained in the morning, but the course was in wonderful condition in the early afternoon!

The course is a little rough around the edges, especially the rough (no pun intended). However, the fairways were in very good condition and the greens rolled true though slow (they may not have been able to mow them given all of the rain lately). The layout was very appealing: A moderate amount of water hazards; a good mixture of doglegs and straight holes; and large mature trees that were appealing to the eye. They could use more signage to tell you where to drive the golf cart. Despite this, my wife and I played in about 3 hours (no one was on the course). Also, valet parking is unusual (and over the top for this place) so dropping off and picking up your clubs is a bit different. Good value. Would play it again.

Played here on Memorial Day. Fabulous pace of play! Course was empty and conditions were great. One of the friendliest staffs I have encountered at any course in FL. Great clubhouse atmosphere, great bartenders and food! Will be back!

Working staff was not kind enough as I had at other place but others was in good condition. specially green condition was excellent than any other courses in Fort Lauderdale area. We enjoyed much.

Good value through GolfNow, member for a day was perfect. Staff and service was excellent, course in very good condition and enjoyable to play although it was very crowded late in the afternoon. Great practice facilities as well. I'll be back to play it again

wonderful golfing experience on a classic course. Golfing is fair and challenging but not over the top. Greens are in great shape.

Course is wide open with some water. 6800+ yards from the blue tees. Well maintained with true greens. My twosome got paired up with a great twosome and we had a lot fun. My only complaint is that when we finished on a Sunday at 4:30, we could not get anything hot to eat because the Kitchen staff had already left.

Love the west course can't wait to play the east. It offers all different looks. strait aways doglegs water and lots of sand.
