West at Woodlands Country Club

Course is interesting, and has a good layout, fairways are in great shape, so are the greens, but the greens were a bit hairy and weren't that quick... If they were a bit quicker, I would have to put this among my favorites,

Have played many, many courses in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area and Woodland West stands out as the very best value for money. The holes are challenging without being impossible. Very friendly staff, in the proshop, starter, hospitality cart, all are addressing you with excellent service and a smile.

PLayed Woodlands East Pretty wie open course. Minimal water for a s Florida course. In good condition Pace of play was good and was an enjoyable round.

I played alone early in the morning and took me less than 3 hours to complete the 18 holes without pressure. The course is very well maintained and in very good condition. The green is challenging. It's worth a visit.

The course is well maintained and the personal are very friendly the downside if there is one, is that there are no markers for the distance from tee on par 3 's and we have lost the benefit of free practice balls like we had last year.

this is a great play, some tee shots need placed in the correct position, greens are tough and fair with good speed

We played from the white tees and the course was very enjoyable. Fairways were accessible on the drive and the
greens are well protected but very large easy to hit with a well struck iron shot. The greens could have been a little quicker
for my liking, but they hold iron shots well and putt smooth and
look great. We had to seldom wait to hit our next shots and played in three and a half hours.

Got a great "Hot Deal" on this one. On arrival everyone from valet to cart and bag guys to pro shop were very helpful and friendly. Course is very well maintained with enough sand and water to be challenging to this duffer without taking away from the pleasure of playing this fine course. A more refined golfer may like something different in a course but I would recommend this one any day and I will definitly be back again.

We were very enthousiat to go to that PRIVATE CLUB ( Woodlands WEST COURSE and we enjoy very much.
The Customer service is excellent

We have played both the East and West courses a few times this year. We always have mixed feelings after we leave.

Staff is sometimes really friendly and other times a bit dismissive. This course is owned by Clublink which is a Canadian company that owns multiple golf courses in Canada and the USA. They recently purchased Palm Aire and also own Heron Bay. Their members can play any of the courses within their membership (depending on member level). Sometimes the staff does not care about the day to day visitors due to this membership program.

Course is in average condition with some interesting holes. We don't usually see a marshal out on the course during our visits. Typically the course is quiet unless they are hosting an event (which does seem to happen often).

The bag drop system needs to be improved - They want you to valet every time, and often the bags are not brought down right away resulting in you waiting for a cart and your clubs.

Overall a decent mid level course with a nice layout.
