Crescent Oaks Country Club
About
Located just north of Tampa in Tarpon Springs, Crescent Oaks Country Club sprawls across rolling hills dotted with sparkling lakes. The narrow course has a traditional layout that was carefully carved from dense woodlands, making it a challenging test. The lakes as well as a meandering creek come into play throughout the golf course. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The par-5 10th is one of the most memorable holes with an elevated green and a ridge cutting across the middle. Par is considered a good score on this tricky hole. The golf course finishes with a par-4 dogleg left that features water along the entire left side of the fairway. The green is also protected by sand on the right and water on the opposite side.

Good course
Winter is back, and Florida's golf courses are buzzing with activity. If a course isn't busy right now, it might struggle to make it to next year. New owners are really stepping up, keeping things well-maintained and visually appealing. I saw the ranger on Sunday making sure the game flowed smoothly, which shows the staff knows how to keep things running well—something you don’t always see at other courses.

After the rain
The course was pretty much wide open since we teed off right after the rain. Still in good shape. Greens were good, fairways very playable. And,the “hot deals” with Teeoff.com made it very affordable.
Swede
Find the course to be in good shape. Challenging but not over bearing. Some greens were rather small. Overall a fun course. Staff was very friendly.
Oaks review
Great layout, tiny greens, hard to get on in regulation.
Conditions OK, but decent prices, especially this time of year!
Love Scott the bartender, and the food is terrific!
Buy More Carts.
I can understand having as many golfers (customers) as possible, but the pace of play has to be reasonably organized. I own a business and know things can back up quickly, but making promises you can't keep is no excuse. It would also help to have more carts, so people don't wait 30 min passed their tee times for a cart.
Fun times!
Greens rolled true and they are fast. Tiny greens and at least some grass in the fairways. Fun course for a change. Met a great group of people that I joined.
Nice couse
Today was a 5 hour round, but they had a tourment a big group , it would be nice if a note is posted, explaining it will a bit slower pace, I would had not schedule the tee time, but it is the first time thst hapoen so I give a pass this time.
Ver good course for value
If you’re looking for Augusta, this is not the place for you. However, if you’re looking for a nice course for the money, highly recommended. The sentiment staff is friendly ad helpful. The greens are a little on the small size, but the fairways and tee boxes were more than adequate. I’m a gust here coming down from St Louis, visiting friends, and got hooked up with 3 folks from Canada and had a blast.
Crescent Oaks
We had a 9:06 tee time. Had to wait on many holes to tee off. This was made more challenging when a single player jumped in front of us at the turn. We were able to pass a group in front of us or we would have had a 5+ hour round.
The course is in good shape and we would definitely play it again if in the area.
Lot of maintenance workers taking care of the course and it showed.
Fun course, slower play than expected. Course in good condition
Crescent Oaks
We played on Presidents’ Day. Overall pace of play was ok, we did ask to play through a foursome that was ahead of us or it would have been a 5+ hour round. A local jumped in between us in the back 9 which seems a bit unprecedented…
Course was in good shape and a fair value for the price. Would definitely play there again.
Pleasantly Surprised
Course was in good condition. No remaining affects of the hurricanes. Also holding up well now in spite of lack of rain.
Very nice staff. Course in good shape. Best Course for the .money in that area.
