Had a great day and a great experience. Of course, at the end of July, it's hot in Palm Springs, surprise, surprise. Course was in good shape, greens were a bit slow because of recent maintenance, but it was a great day!

Playing during the heat of July gets you a good deal. Played here before and decided to try it again. Love the layout. Quite a few bunkers to contend with but took care if that by tossing my ball out so the group behind didn't have to wait (my home course us a par 3 with no bunkers). On my next booking will attempt the challenge of hitting out of the bunker. The bad thing was the cart have no GPS and couldn't find yardage markers. I'm bad in determining yardage and stupidly forgot my Neo Ghost GPS. Other than that, had a great day.

Had an excellent time. Only surprise was no driving range. Just a net to hit into. Course was in great shape and it is a challenging but fair layout. The Golf Now booking experience was great.

Been trying to play at least one new course when making our annual pilgrimage out to Palm Springs. Escena did not disappoint. Great staff, and facilities, Club house Restrooms were pretty sweet. Course was definilty fair for your 20 handicap players like our group. Excellent shape. Only drawback was the wind. was told that it was unseasonable

Lots of room to place the ball and interesting greens. Bunkers are excellent.

Finished in 3 hours!

Got on for a great price. Fairways firm and fast, as expected this time of the year. Greens in excellent condition, but play short once the wind gets up. Pace was great till the last 4 holes, but still finished in under 4hrs. Wind will get stiff after 2pm, but still very playable..Will play all summer, just be smart and hydrate.

Excellent layout. Course was extremely well maintained. Only drawback was that they only had a practice area hitting into nets. Otherwise, it was pleasure to play on.

The only suggestion I have is that would be wise to provide at least one bottle of water. The carts have an ice chest with ice, but no bottle of water. When it is 100 or hotter, that would be a very cheap item that could prevent someone from having heat stroke.

I've wanted to play Escena for a long time, but it was always too expensive or too hot. But there are days in June when Golfnow offers great deals and the Palm Springs weather is nice. Two of us went out and had a great time. Almost nobody was on the course, the weather was perfect, and the course was in great shape. I especially liked that the tees and fairways were flawless. The greens were nice too, but a little hard to read because of the grain.

This is not a very difficult course as the fairways are generous, the rough is not bad unless you hit it sideways, and mostly the terrain slopes toward the fairways. Greens are very large. The bunkers do present a challenge as they are very penal and need to be avoided - same for the water features.

Escena is a great course. Get there early in the morning to avoid any potential wind.

Course has a great layout and everything was in great condition. Restaurant offered a good menu. Will definitely play again!!

We were able to book through our resort, golfnow or directly on the course website. Upon the completion of our round, they sent us a discount to play our second round. We really enjoyed the course. It was very challenging and kept in really good condition.

Because of the proximity to highway 10, it can be a bit windier than the more southern courses in the valley. The driving range is into a net off mats. It would be great if they added a full range.

Perfect afternoon of golf, the only negative is you could not order of the menu as they only offered a Mothers Day Brunch. Course was in excellent condition

I really like the course can be a little pricey but it's a good challenge to your game you need all 14 clubs to play here

Very solid, fun course, and from the 6600 yard orange tees a reasonable challenge, especially with a 30-40 mph wind in our face. Got around in a twosome in 3:30 on a Monday afternoon. Course Is in excellent shape. Would be happy to play it again.

Definitivey worth the price. Fairways and greens in excellent condition

We played this course on a hot deal. It was in great shape and we had an awesome day.
