Enjoyed a first class experience at one of the top public courses in the valley. Staff were informative and very accommodating. Course was in great shape. Looking forward to my next visit!

Great course design. Beautiful mountain views on every hole. Helpful staff. I'll definitely play here again.

The course needs a driving range rather than a cage and net. Everything else is very nice including the restaurant and golf shop.

This is really the only course in the city of Palm Springs to play. The views are outstanding, the course is everything you'd want in a resort course. Customer service is excellent.

Friendly in every respect.

Must visit the 19th hole/club house. Great selection of local microbrews. The homemade potato chips with chipotle dip is a must have. Bartender was engaging and attentive.

Can't wait to get back.

Escena is my favorite golf course in Palm Springs. The course and its staff are outstanding. Its always a treat to play Escena and then have a great meal in the restaurant. . The course is in great condition. If you get to Palm Springs don't miss out on this great course, you will not be disappointed .

Me and my wife were absolutely amazed by the course conditions and scenic views. The greens were awesome and the pace of play was excellent. We played in 4:15. Staff was very friendly. The restaurant has the best patio in town. I definitely will be making this my home course while in the desert.

I guess they think everyone has laser yardage devices.

there is a 150 marker on every hole but nothing else. the starter said there were sprinklers with yardage and I found 1 in 18 holes of golf. the par 3's tee boxes don't have markers either. no way to walk off yardage.

Too bad there is not more attention to detail as this is a GREAT golf course

First time we played at ESCENA. The course was in great shape, generous fairway landing areas, greens were rolling great, just need to get on the correct level as most are very undulating. There were no stroke-savers available at ProShop which would assist first time players. Some of the views are awesome!!!. The clubhouse is superb with good food and friendly staff.

The minute you drove in you new golf was going to be good. The outside look also set the wheels going. The pro was outstanding in filling us in on course conditions and what to look for on holes. We will play this course soon and often.

Awesome course located next to the Airport in Palm Springs, One would think the airport noise would be a distraction but quite the opposite!

Well cared for fairways, bunkers and water features are scenic!

Food at the 19th is top notch!

Only drawback is the lack of driving range! The have great chipping and putting surfaces , and a 7-8 place driving net to get warmed up!

A wonderful course in super condition and which has great views. Play it if you get a chance! My one concern: We played the second twilight and the course was too busy with other golfers also taking advantage of the great price. After 4 hours, we had to stop due to darkness.

Nice course - great greens

When we arrived at Escena we were blown away by the beauty of the course as it truly is lovely. However it was a surprise/disappointment to find out that they do not have a driving range though their chipping & puttin greens are quite nice. We could forgive the lack of driving range and give the course a higher rating if we didn't have to wait on Every Single Hole. On some of the Par 3's we were stacked up 3 groups and ended up playing 5 hour & 10 minute round it is difficult to play a good game when you are waiting before every shot.

Escena if you spread out your tee times we would be back in a heartbeat but until then there are plenty of other coursesand we won't be back.

Played @ about 3:30 for a great price. We fit in 15 holes because of the darkness, as well as a couple of slow groups. The course was in great condition and the views were spectacular. Greens rolled true, and the fairways were quite forgiving. Good course in Palm Springs if you are not looking for too much difficulty.

Very pretty course with nice views of the mountains. A real eye pleaser. Good condition and some real sporty holes. I liked it but.....It has a reputation for slow play and here is why. The forward tees are too long for most women (5100 yds) and the par threes are way too hard for women and seniors. This causes log jams and 5 plus hour rounds.

This course is in great condition and has great views. In addition, we saw more wildlife here than any of the 4 other courses we played combined. Only drawback is driving range limited to hitting off mats into nets.

Overall the course was okay. Some holes were pleasing to the eye. Lots of the landscaping around the course needs to be replaced, it is burnt out or dead. The staff were excellent, with a nice clubhouse on site. Very busy the day we played, we had to wait for carts and still got in in 4 hours and 15.

If you are going to play this course, bring something to read, War and Peace comes to mind.

Ridiculously slow, and no apartment effort to fix the problem. No instructions on speed of play, no effort by the club to remedy the problem, just passive acceptance.

It's amazing to me how some golf clubs can survive.in a competitive market with this attitude. Fortunately the valley offers many alternatives where they actually care about their customers. This was my second and last round at Escena.
