About
Winter Park Pines Golf Club has offered one of the most affordable rounds in the greater Orlando area since first opening in 1968. The course has a traditional design that is ideal for beginners though it's also great if you're looking for a quick, casual round. The par-70 golf course may seem odd with a par-34 front nine and a par-36 back nine, but the layout manages to blend together seamlessly. The golf course has short par 4s and par 3s of varying lengths. There is one par 5 that measures 462 yards. The first half of the course is especially scenic with mature trees framing most of the holes. In addition to the golf course, Winter Park Pines also has a practice facility available. It features a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens with a bunker.

Same old thing
Joke of a chipping area. Putting green close. Course needs a major renovation

Getting better, have hope it can become a top golf course in orlando
Course has constantly been getting better and better , tees need lots of work to be flattened and grass to grow, however greens are in great shape for the most part, some areas need work but you can tell they are working it really hard. For the price you can’t be upset about it, but happy to pay more for perfect greens (they need to be cut and rolled) , better tee boxes, and faster pace

Once again course needs attention
The tee boxes were bare and not good condition, many of the greens need help bare spots weed issues, we caught up with a 3 some 4 holes ahead of us and they were so slow we made decision to go ahead an miss a whole because they didn’t have the courtesy to let us play through. This gets like this every year.. Well new owners hope you can do better please Good Luck…

cart shortage
normally I would give this place a better review based on the course and staff… but riddle me this… how do you book all these tee times and have a cart shortage delaying everyone by 40 mins?
Thank you for taking the time to review the course. We apologize for the cart issue delay that you experienced at the course. We are aware of the situation and placed a large order for new carts last year but unfortunately due to shortages their delivery has been delayed until August. Due to the large number of golfers we've had since reopening after the pandemic, the wear & tear of of the carts have caused us to lose 15 due to battery issues. We are hoping to mitigate this issue as soon as our delivery comes. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and we hope to see you back at the course soon. I don't like this course
first off this is one of the most played courses in the USA...I play it once or twice a year and regret it. The course is absolutely flat and straight maybe one hole with slight dog leg. There are 5 par threes on the back, 4 of which are about 200 yards...what do you hit that far and keep the ball on the green...the carts have no wind shields which does not work well with summer rains about...try it maybe you will like it or maybe it will be a course to play so that you enjoy your regular spots better

Winter Pines is consistently okay.
It's always okay. There's some bad areas on the greens but you can always move your ball and cut through something nice.
